It is new. More on a dark gray side. Gets darker when dry
Pretty nice caulk. Yes it is not black blackā¦ but at least in my case it served for a benefit of matching a bit faded original seals with n the object of my project.For someone looking for truly black outcome I would shop for something else.

Very effective, but a bit hard to put on.
Very effective and really helps when I use this product to fill any void under the vinyl flooring. The color, however, does makes a mess on many area and its stickiness makes it hard to use.But otherwise than, very effective.

Great choice for black colored sealant
I needed some sealant for an exterior door that gets full sun for a couple of hours a day and occasionally other weather elements (wind, rain, etc.). My door trim is black, so getting sealant pre colored black saved me the hassle of coloring the sealant myself. It's only been installed for a month now, but has demonstrated it's elastic properties alternating between temperature swings (full hot sun and then back to shade/darkness). Next test will be autumn and winter for it's sealant properties.

This is more like water than caulk
I can't even describe the consistency of this junk. It's not caulk, it's like thick water. It literally ran down my trim. Crazy. Would not recommend.
