BazookaBubble Gum Bulk, 225 Count Tub of Chewing Gum Individually Wrapped, Old Fashioned Candy

There are certain gums I enjoyed when i was Younger. Bazooka was always a good value, i think i could get them $0.05 each. Big League Chew was also decent.I recently reacquainted myself with Bazooka gum, as I was looking for a sugar chewing gum, without a lot of extra stuff, that was what it was. Bubble gum.It had been years, but, so far, after going through about 100 pieces of this Bazooka Retro gum this year, it seems to be about the same flavor and consistency. When you first get to the gum, yeah, it's tough, but, that's how I recall it always being. Though, I recall the gum used to have ridges on it, now it's just a flat rectangular piece of gum. So, it's not all as I remember it, but pretty close. No big deal there.It's a decent chewing gum, but, the flavor does fade fast. However, the consistency of the gum's chew is pretty good.If you liked the Bazooka chewing gum from years past, this Bazooka Retro gum may not be exactly the same, but, it's pretty close. Also, the 225 piece tub of it, is a good value.About the comics, I see some people in these reviews posted photos of some weak comics found in their chewing gum, that are just jokes, and such. Well, none of the Bazooka Retro gum I have opened had those style comics. All of the comics were the same style as what I recall from the past.

Chewing this gum instantly takes me back to my childhood. Reminds me of opening up packs of garbage pail kids and baseball cards. It seems to be the same recipe that they use to make the gum sticks that came in packs back in the day. Really enjoy chewing it from time to time. Flavor is great. And yes, they still come with the little comic stripes inside each piece! Really cool. A small dose of nostalgia!

If you want to go down a childhood memory lane, these are excellent. Just like I remember as a kid - to include the Bazooka Joe comic. Good quality gum that does not stick to the wrapper. Longevity of the flavor isn't great, but no better or worse than any other bubble gum. I took thse to work and put them on my desk for others to help themselves. It was amazing how fast they were gone! Can only recommend.

Tastes like the real deal for the most part , I'm old so I remember what it used to be like as a kid but the flavor is gone fast so enjoy while you can :)

And I still have a ton of bazooka bubblegum coming out of my ears oh my God I got the bucket is still half full all this time later I have no complaints I got it to get me through cigar cravings and then started smoking again but you know what the little comics that are great it's fun it's cute it's a nostalgic I have no complaints I hope everybody crisis at some point in their life cuz I grew up on this and it made me smile thank you

this was a bargan at under $18.00 gum was fresh and comes in a nice container

The container had a plastic band around the lid and it was intact. No problem there. The gum doesn't have a good taste, and the color and texture doesn't seem right and it's hard as a rock. The flavor is gone in two-three minutes...about the time it takes to get it soft enough to chew. Not the Bazooka I knew. Disappointed is an understatement.
