I bought these grates to replace the OEM grates in a Weber Spirit II and couldn't be happier. They super sturdy and well built, retain a ton of heat, leave excellent grill marks, and are very easy to clean and take care of.They do require a bit of cleaning and seasoning before use. As soon as I got them, I tossed them in the oven cranked up as hot as it would go for about an hour to burn off whatever was left on them from the manufacturing process. Often times raw cast iron is coated with a thin layer of oil at the factory to prevent rust from forming. Then I lightly oiled them, put them in the grill, and burned them in on the highest heat for another 30 minutes, then they were ready to use.They fit perfectly in my grill. Care/maintenance is a breeze, just lightly oil them once a week or so depending on how often you use them, and brush them with a good grill brush after every use. 100% worth the price!

These grates are heavy, sturdy and a perfect fit for our older, Weber Spirit grill. While they are relatively new, we're very impressed with the quality; they have performed beautifully so far and we don't see any reasons for problems and expect that they will last for years to come. Don't know why I didn't choose to replace my OEM grill grates sooner! I have a 2009 Weber Spirit E210 (side mounted controls) and originally was a bit confused on which model I had. After researching my serial number on the Weber Grill support site, I found the part number and came to Amazon to find a suitable replacement.These replacement grates are a perfect fit and work great. Cooking on them is just like my original grates. Now my grill looks as appealing as the food. Glad I chose to get these replacements!

very fast service, the quality was excellent, far superior than the the original Weber ones.

Most top rated grills have moved from enamel coated plated to cast iron, so I decided to switch when I needed new grill plates for my old Weber. I like these better as they get hotter and leave nice grill marks on the steaks. They are more durable and won't chip like enamel. The one (minor) downside it that they take a bit longer to reach optimum temperature, but it's worth the extra few minutes.
