Great device that has many functions.
This blood pressure monitor has turned out to be quite nice. It features a memory function to call up past readings and is able to keep track of 2 different people. It has a bluetooth function that can connect to an app on your phone where you can pull up your history. There is also a setting where you can take 3 readings automatically and the averege of the 3 is the one displayed. Very nice. There is also a AFIB monitor that detects abnormal heart rythms. This device is also battery powered so portability is possible. The arm cuff is adjustable and fits. The only issue I have, if this is an issue is that when inflating the arm cuff, it does get very tight, almost to the point of discomfort, maybe thats just me. Overall, I do recommend this monito, it is pricey but it is worth it for accuracy and reliability.

Excellent at home monitoring and reporting
Pricey for sure, but I like the AF monitoring , the irregular heart beat monitoring along with the BP and P monitoring. The information being transferred to an app for tracking is a plus and will make it easy to provide my cardiologist with a detailed report. Appears to be of excellent quality and pleased with the functioning even when it tells me my numbers are too high.

Compact, comfortable and accurate BP machine
OMRON is a trusted brand in healthcare products and I can't be happier with my purchase. My husband needs to take his blood pressure (BP) everyday and he was using a different brand's machine (about five years old) that started to give inconsistent readings and errors. His doctor recommended to replace a BP machine ever five years, so my husband chose OMRON BP5465 based on the positive reviews (thank you, other reviewers!)He is delighted the cuff is so comfortable and the reading is consistently accurate (he compared it with a reading from his recent doctor's visits, and they were spot on). You can have two users (and a guest), so I took mine too and agree about the cuff being so comfortable.Setting it up was easy - you can use the AC adaptor (included) but for the portability reason, we opted for the batteries (not included). It took me a minute to figure out how to correct the date and time: note to self - read the damn manual! It was so easy after that.OMRON BP5465 is very compact and it comes with a cute little carrying bag that has a pocket to store the manual nicely. The price is reasonable and we highly recommend it!

App works well with the device.
I found the instructions quite confusing on how to initially set it up and to use it. However, I persevered and am now using it daily and find it very helpful, especially the app for the iPhone. I recommend it to anyone who wants to monitor their blood pressure.

Not Giving Blood Pressure When in Afib
Addendum: Six times in a row (three times on each arm) this BP monitor displayed only a big AF with no current blood pressure reading. I switched to my old Lazle BP monitor and it reported both afib and my blood pressure. The included Omron literature said that blood pressure readings were unreliable when in afib but my cardiologist disagreed and research on NIH said the BP readings while in afib are useful.Original Review:I am in and out of afib daily and my blood pressure (bp) falls quite low at times (e.g. 81/46).I have a Lazle blood pressure monitor (no longer sold here) that works well to take blood pressure and report afib but I can't capture the data other than writing it down. Thus I bought this monitor because of Consumer Report ratings and the ability to capture the data on my iphone.Unfortunately, more than half of my readings only state that I am in afib without giving my bp. My Lazle provides bp even when it shows me to be in afib. Additionally, the readings here vary from both my Lazle and my Apple watch (afib only). The Omron will say I'm in afib when neither the Lazle nor my watch shows that. I am taking all three devices with me to my cardiologist's next week to see which one most closely matches their reading.

The best bp monitor I’ve ever had!
This review is for the OMRON Platinum blood pressure monitor. I’ve had several different bp monitors over the years and this is by far the best. Consistently accurate readings. Easy to use. Easy to set up the app. The app is a real benefit! It’s expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Device great App has questionable requirements
Device works great. Easy to use. Bluetooth part of app seems to work great. Interface on app good. Android App requires you to have notifications on before they let you in app. Not sure why they think they need to notify me of anything except to be a creepy app. If they do send me notification I will uninstall and go back to manual recording of BP. App Bluetooth works fine setup worked no issues they just need to take notification as requirement out.
