Q: Will Heave Hoe work if mixed with applesauce?

That’s exactly what I use! It works well. I buy the individual size containers of applesauce.

Q: Does anyone know why it’s recommended giving in the morning ?

Per the manufacturer/creator of the product: We want the effects of HHO on board in morning so it is clinically better during the day to exercise/ride/train. We also want effects of HHO on board in morning to allow normal eating and drinking----if in respiratory distress, they eat less and drink less----dehydration will increase respiratory problems. We also find, that many people feed only 1x day-----and that about 90% of those feed in morning, then kick out in the field for the day. If some people feed only 1x day but in the evening, we tell them to feed HHO in the evening-----we need HHO with food.
