Remember which hydrangeas were pink and which were blue!
Works great- takes some time and patience- too bad I didn’t remember which ones were blue or pink before- cuz they’re all blue now!!!!

Our soil (and water) are basic and the off the shelf Home Depot products produce purplish blue flowers. This does a good job. Adding peat moss also helps make the soil more acidic. I was glad to see this product available and would suggest trying it.

A Beautiful Blue Healthy Hydrangea
I used this product last season on my hydrangea, and it was a beautiful blue and grew well. So I just sprinkled a bunch of it around the base of my plant yesterday, and I'm hoping for the same results this year. The product should be sprinkled around the base of the bush in late winter or early spring before the bush starts growing.

NOT TRUE Blue
I purchased this product just before spring and before any new growth started. My hydrangeas had given me pink blooms instead of the beautiful blue flowers it had given me the years prior. I used this product as directed and it in fact worked by changing the flowers from pink to a very beautiful purple. However it did not achieve the blue flowers I was expecting. Even though I added a little extra when feeding them. Also my blooms were a lot smaller this year but the leaves seem bigger and greener. I normally use Miracle-Gro flowers and because it helps promote huge blooms but it does not change the color of hydrangeas, reason why I tried this product. Needless to say I now use both.

Didn't work
I was so hoping this would bring the color back into the hydrangea I bought for myself from Walmart as a Mother's Day gift, but it didn't. My plant was a beautiful blue/purple in May, but by July all the blooms were a light green color. It wasn't easy to measure how much to use, so I must've put too much and the blooms dried up halfway. I waited for the color to change on the blooms that didn't die, but it never did. I used this fertilizer twice. It did prompt new growth so the leaves are coming and growing, but the flowers never became blue again. Disappointed.
