Perfect travel cooler
Just got this travel cooler for a lengthy France river cruise. Cabins have no mini-fridge to keep my meds cold. This seems perfect for long plane travel as well as on the cruise and transportation between hotels.

TSA approved
It stays the right temperature when plugged in. It does not stay cold long if not plugged in. It went through TSA but it was the first one they saw.

Comes with two different caps and power bank. Nice flask bag is included.
This device is slightly larger than a coffee mug but it still fits into car drink holders. It came with two caps. One is a thermo electric cooler. It is powered via USB-C port on the side. The cap has a single multifunction control button and two digit temperature display. By tapping on the control button you can change the temperature scale to Celsius or Fahrenheit. You can also set target temperatures ranging anywhere from 35 to 46 degrees fahrenheit. The other cap has a thermocouple wire probe and is self-powered based on temperature differences inside and outside the flask. This cap has just two digit LCD display to show the temperature inside the flask. This cap is used with an included gel bottle. This gel bottle is initially placed in the freezer and then into the flask. The included power supply is rated for 2A at 5V or 10W of power. 20000Mah or 20Ah powerbank can supply the power to this device for around 10 hours. I tested the thermo electric cooler cap. It reached the preset target temperature within half an hour. I'm planning to use a gel bottle with a thermo-electric cap, keeping the cap powered while I'm driving and using the gel bottle as a thermo-battery while the car is parked.

Ice pack worked well, but the electrical cooling is not effective
The ice pack works very well. Kept cool for hours. The plug in cooler part, on the other hand, was not effective at cooling. It cannot cool down like a mini refrigerator even though the space is quite small. The metal shaft also came with a burr blemish.

Stays remarkably cool
I lead beachwalks for our PINS volunteers and always bring this insulin cooler along, fully charged and ready, in case one of the walkers needs a place to store insulin. Coastal Texas heat and humidity are no joke—insulin doesn’t stand a chance left in a bag or vehicle without some kind of active cooling. This cooler works off a 20000mAh power bank and charges via USB-C, which is a nice update over older micro-USB setups. Charging takes several hours depending on the charger you’re using, but once it's fully topped off, I’ve been able to get roughly 8 to 12 hours of active cooling time out of it, depending on how hot it is outside and how often it’s opened. When used with the built-in electronic cooling, it maintains a steady temp in the 35–46°F range as advertised, even when the outside air is pushing 90°F or more. The little digital display helps keep track of that without having to open it constantly. I’ve tested it with a probe thermometer and the reading has been fairly accurate. The thermoelectric cooling plate is responsive and doesn't overshoot, which is important when you're trying to avoid freezing the insulin. As a passive cooler with just the included ice pack, it's more limited. The ice pack does help for short trips or as backup when you’re between charges, but I wouldn't trust it for more than a couple of hours in that kind of heat without active cooling. That mode is fine if you’re inside a building or vehicle with moderate temps, but in open sun or a tent, it’s not enough on its own.

Nice to have when needed
Great for insulin. It’s hard to travel, especially camp when being insulin dependent. This is a small game changer.

Effective product, but needs better instructions
This is a very impressive product that is an amazing option for diabetics who travel. It has a multitude that promote a cool environment for my insulin, and these range from traditional to high-tech.The core system is built around a thermos-style design, which in itself creates an insulated environment that resists temperature changes. There is room for a frozen gel pack that is included. This makes for yet another air gap to maintain the temperature. To top things off, a peltier cooler is integrated into one of the lids and it can be powered with an external battery. This active cooler has an effective fan system to ensure that the thermoelectric cooler is adequately ventilated from the hot side. There is also an option for a lid with just a temperature monitor and no active peltier cooling to reduce the footprint. The included bag can be one final layer of insulation, and it is custom made to fit this device and accessories.I am very impressed by the build quality and number of options. This cooler can keep insulin cool for multiple days, and it provides better protection than anything I have used in the past. My one complaint is that the instructions are very poor and I feel like I am making my best guess with some of the operations. One question I have is how is the lid that only displays the temperature powered, and will this give me any issues trying to check it on a plane due to lithium ion batteries being restricted in checked baggage. There is no serviceable battery that I can find. It is a little bit bulky to go inside of a carry-on, but it will go on all long car rides. I am also going to do more research and make sure that it can go into a checked bag. This tube provides excellent protection, but the last thing I need is to arrive at my destination only to find out my insulin has been confiscated.
