Great product low price.
Works great, I’ve had this for a year and a half now and only paid about £10, it boils effectively and consistently no matter the amount of water, it doesn’t leak or leave a weird taste to the water. There have been no issues with the light indicating that it is engaged, easy to fill, lid has always closed fully and properly, looks nice good size, has lasted this long with no issue.

Fab kettle.
I ordered a full size travel kettle before from Amazon, and it was awful- the thing started smoking even though it wasn’t plugged in and hadn’t been for days.Anyhow, I needed a new one. I have a kettle downstairs, but when I’m going to bed I like to have one on my bedside unit for convienence when I want to make a hot water bottle. I have a 2l hot water bottle and some of the smaller ones weren’t that big, fortunately this one was, and the price is very fair too.It boils in around two minutes which is quicker than my glass one downstairs, and has is a nice brushed stainless steel finish. The lid pops off with a button and it’s dead easy to refill.I will say the brushed steel means it’s not as light as plastic, but I am not using it for travel so that’s fine by me. It’s definitely a lot smarter than the plastic and doesn’t look as cheap and tacky. If you struggle to lift heavy kettles, it’s definitely not as heavy as a glass one, so you should be fine. The light in it is bright enough so it’s obvious when it’s boiled and ready to pour.Only flaw is the wire for it is very short, so I need to lift my extender on the bed to actually get it boiling. I don’t think this would be too much of a bother in a kitchen where the plug sockets tend to be near a kettle, but something to watch out for if your socket is a distance away. The base is very flimsy, so be careful when it boils as the base does shake. For £14 it’s a steal and I would buy again.

Much better than expected
For a cheap kettle, you would not expect this to be this good. The inside does not have the heating metal soet of thing that actually heats it up. But its the actual connecting point of the dock and the bottom of kettle. Which means it will stay clean unlike the traditional ones that have that metal inside and leave broken bits of it occasionally. But that does mean that boil speed will be a bit longer. But it is just fine. Looks good as well!

Stopped working after 4 months.
I’ve had this for only 4 months. When you are putting water into a cup some water spills which is dangerous. This morning went to put the kettle on. The light goes on but now it doesn’t boil. Now I have to go and get a new kettle.

Poor quality
Had a previous model, which lasted well. Can't say the same for this model though!! Stopped working in under 2 months!!!! Dreadful quality so stay away from this one.Update: Support have offered a replacement free of charge, so hopefully that will last longer...

Value for money
I have been using this kettle for over three months, and it has consistently performed well. It heats water efficiently, usually taking around three to four minutes to reach boiling point, making it a convenient option for daily use. The automatic switch-off feature works perfectly, providing added safety by preventing overheating or dry boiling. The build quality is sturdy, and the design is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. The handle remains cool to the touch, making it easy to pour without any risk of burns. Additionally, the lid opens smoothly, allowing for hassle-free refilling and cleaning. So far, I have not encountered any issues, and the kettle continues to function as expected. Overall, it is a reliable and efficient appliance that offers great value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fast and safe way to boil water.

Great kettle - lots of positives
We had a glass kettle from a leading brand with fancy blue lighting. After the fancy lights failed and the glass got scratched with the sharp metal inside the badly designed lid and the handle became wobbly we decided to try this model as an alternative.Positives:* Seems very well made - nice solid feel to the handle.* Very light, strong stainless steel.* Good lid, hinged and clicks into place reassuringly.* Boils a mug full of water (300ml) in just over 1 minute.* Pours well.* No plastic in direct contact with the boiling water.* Great value.Might be negatives to some people:1. Lower power than a fast boil.We wanted a lower power as we tend to boil smaller quantities and our electricity comes from a solar inverter so this is less of a load and places less strain on the system. The lower wattage means it will take twice as long as a 3kW kettle. A couple of mugs of water will be about two and a half minutes.2. No way of seeing how full it is with lid closed. In the past we have found those plastic tubes that show the level of the water end up leaking. If you want to save time and money simply empty the cup / teapot of cold water into this kettle and you should be spot in with no fancy fill level tube to leak.

Good value, works well, but a hot handle
Works , does what its supposed to, godd functional basic kettle, but for me the handle gets to hot when pouring water after it boiled so I give it 4 starts for that reason
