Sturdy, efficient and comfortable to use.
I've gone through a few different 'large' grip cutlery sets over the years and none of them have lasted as long as the first set I had. The originals were made of decent steel and a good solid mount on a rubber-like handle. Since then, everything I've had has been some sort of alloy which bends at the slightest pressure and snaps pretty quickly. So, once again looking for a set of cutlery I can use, I found these. What a revelation.Seriously, these are really nice. Good stainless metal, nicely formed grip that doesn't slip or slide and the design makes them look quite attractive. Not so ashamed to have these on the table with ordinary cutlery, unlike the previous bulky gorilla cutlery. That might sound a bit dramatic, but it matters. It matters that you have cutlery that looks like cutlery. It helps one to feel human. The knife cuts as well, so you don't end up having to saw at things to get them sliced, or worse, ask somebody else to cut it. The fork is strong enough to hold food which it is being cut and without the tines or shaft bending from the pressure. The spoons could be a little bit deeper but they're fine for what they are. This set has quite literally transformed my life. I no longer have to be careful when manipulating food on the plate, and especially when trying to cut things. The shape is just about right so if one's hands don't entirely work properly you can still eat. But most important, these are normal knife, fork, spoon.... Normal in that they are not great fat ugly rubber things. The metal doesn't bend easily, although you can adjust the shape to make them easier to use. The handles are wide enough to work in hands that don't close well, and are light enough that they don't have that much risk of breaking free from a weak grip. Though, saying that, they are heavy enough that you know you're holding them. The handles are a hard plastic rather than the rubber handles many other manufacturers use. The surfaces are slightly roughened to facilitate grip, with a rigged section at the top head of the cutlery for a finger or thumb to apply pressure, the underside of the head has a raised ridge to assist in gripping and to stop them slipping up into the hand when picking up or cutting food.I feel that some thought has gone into the design and manufacture of these and I am so happy that I took the chance and bought them.Beautifully manufactured, suitable for most disabled eaters and a godsend in a box. I can't heap enough praise on the manufacturer and the seller for providing these. I feel almost normal again. Thanks.

Good quality but unsuitable for my requirements.
Nothing wrong with these for normal usage. Good value and quality.I returned mine because I required a 'weighted' set for Parkinson's tremors. A weighted set helps to stabilize the tremor so you keep more food on the cutlery when in use. These, weight for weight were exactly the same weight as my normal cutlery, although these have a larger, better grip area, but not heavy enough to counteract tremors. For others these would be perfect, but for me not so perfect. Therefor returned.

Amazing difference
Purchased these for my elderly grandmother as she was struggling to grip regular cutlery. We thought they might be a bit easier, but they have ended up being incredible and have made such a difference - my grandmother can now eat and cut her food at a much easier pace and without assistance. Great value for money. Thank you so much - I would definitely purchase again.

Easy to use
My 93 year old father suffers very badly from arthritis in his hand so I got him these, he uses them all the time now, he can hold the larger sized handles, he takes them with him when we take him out for a carvery, now there's no need for me to cut up his meat and Yorkshire pudding !!! So they're Ideal for me too
