This rotary cutter works very well for cutting fabric; I made a tee shirt with strips of the shirt cut out with the rotary cutter using a self-healing cutting mat, also Cricut brand.

I cut how it cuts, has a lock on it that you pull back, it cuts great.

I bought this to use with Cricut crafting. Love that it has a blade protector. Cuts fabric well once you get used to the pressure you need.
