Healthy Plants
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Was looking to add some vandas to my collection. Ordered the 4 pack. The packaging they arrived in was well thought out, cute and the plants arrived in great condition. Plus I received a bonus dendrobium. I have had them for a couple of weeks now and they continue to grow new leaves and roots. I would definitely recommend ordering from this seller!

Healthy plants
The box came crushed even though the seller put a Handle with Care Fragile sticker on the outer plastic packaging (thanks a lot USPS…not). All of these baby cymbidiums were lovingly placed in each of their individual bag with their respective identification sticker and rolled up in a piece of paper that is a print from the American Orchid Society. The seller also included their version of care instructions. I am a novice so am a bit confused as the orchid society stated to mix perlite but the seller’s do not recommend it. Anyway, happy with my purchase so far as all of the plants came with healthy green leaves. They are very small so I may not see flowers for a decade :D I will def order from them again.

Mostly Healthy Plants
These are young, will be a few years before they are mature enough to bloom. One arrived with no roots and sadly did not survive. They even sent a few extra orchids (tolumnia and vanda). Also young but good root systems. Overall happy with purchase.

Potted all of them at 1:00 AM & they reduced my stress levels 100% ;)
They came all individually wrapped in one box, with little gauze jackets & pictures of each orchid & color on the little bags. Printed instructions for potting, repotting & growth were included. Even if you have never potted orchids or had any luck caring for plants in the past, these are a no-brainer. They arrived green and the roots were healthy on all of them. I found little ventilated terra pots to start the plants in. Orchid potting mix is great mix of shale, charcoal, wood chips - no mess, no dirty dirt all over. Soaked the roots before I potted them - they really came to life after initial soaking. This morning all standing tall and thriving. I could not be happier.

Excellent orchid purchase experience
"I recently received my orchids in excellent health, which wasn't surprising given my positive experience ordering from this seller previously. I'm already looking forward to my next purchase, where I'll be selecting the same beautiful orchids but in different colors and varieties!"

Nice way to add to your collection!
Seedlings arrived safe in Priority mail package which then had plastic bag over it labeled well to handle with care and fragile. Well wrapped seedlings, bare root as stated, labeled, and even a photo on the label of either the plants bloom or the parents crossed. They are very small, but healthy looking with good roots. I've grown many orchids outside since moving to S.Florida 30 yrs ago. I grow my phals outside on a lanai window sill where they get only morning sun under the lanai screen. They have to be kept warm in winter so anything lower than 55F , I bring them all inside. The new way of growing them in clay pebbles, lava rock, & stones has really made a major difference in my older phals. I was amazed that they took off like "gang-busters"! So...goodbye to growing in bark orchid mixes, which when breaks down can rot the roots or even can become toxic & kill roots. I lost so many years ago not knowing that you must re-pot orchids grown in bark no longer than every 1-2 yrs. I mention this only because of the growing sheet from American Orchid Society seller enclosed which didn't mention the other media that we can use, nor that you can put them outside when warm enough where you live as long as they are in a shaded or low-sun area. Phalaenopsis love the humidity like most orchids and would hate to be in air-conditioning all summer if they didn't have to be. (Watch YouTube orchid vids & learn) As for my new seedlings...they perked up from their "trip" enormously as soon as I put them into a small cup/pot with moist, lightly packed New Zealand sphagnum moss. They will grow fine in just that as I "baby" them until they get big enough for the mix I use now. The translucent new orchid pots that allow you to keep an eye on the roots health & water needs are great. Too expensive? Yes it seems, but a tip I saw in a video is for small orchids, to just buy the clear hard-plastic party cups. Then use an old wood burning tool to make your own holes where you wish them! (Seedlings are in them now.) I'm very pleased with adding some new phals to my collection at such a nice price. I may order again later in hopes to get different ones. My only suggestion would be that seller would let us choose the colors at some point in future, so as not to get any "repeats". Highly recommend seller, very pleased.

Vandas: 1 DOA, 2 relatively healthy, 2 in ER
Orchids arrived in a fairly timely manner via USPS ground. I chose vandas, which are a bit more sensitive than many other species (especially in colder weather - the heat pack was cool by the time they arrived - the packaging included insulation and was done well overall). I received small seedlings, each with a few 2-3" roots, and one extra orchid (5 total), which was appreciated. However, neither the roots nor leaves were in particularly good health upon arrival. In fact, one vanda has already died. Also, it's been two months and I'm still trying to revive the other four vandas in a humidity dome (version of "spag and bag").All in all, a decent value for the price, but be prepared to do some doctoring upon their arrival.
