Just want to say that you will have to lay this out for a day or two to make it flat because of the way it is shipped but it has been great.Looks fantastic on my truck and once it's on you can definitely tell it is going to do exactly as intended, save the front of your hood from rock chips.I definitely recommend this to anyone.Scott

This product looks really good and adds a kind of "tough" look to my truck. I will say that the bends designed for the hood are very difficult to get perfectly lined up. During installation it will require you to TAKE YOUR TIME and stretch it in certain areas. You will also need to compress the tape a sufficient amount of time for it to adhere correctly. This is not just a peel and stick sort of product.Follow the directions carefully, and clean the area VERY well and you won't have the issue I have read other reviewers talking about. START IN THE MIDDLE, not the edges. If you start on the edges you will never get it lined up perfectly straight, nor have one end match the other end where it stops. This will be a very time consuming and tedious process and if you don't have the patience for it, look elsewhere for your needs.Peel one section of tape at a time. I stood on a step ladder so I could reach under the product and use tweezers to grab and peel off the backing on the tape sections as I went. Be very deliberate with where you place the product after peeling off the backing and press it solidly into place, applying pressure for a full 60 seconds before moving onto the next section.A step a lot of people skip or cut corners on and then blame the product is area prep. Being the hood of a vehicle, it gathers a bit of grime that needs to be removed beforehand. I cleaned the are 3 times with soap and water and a micro fiber cloth before the cloth came out clean and wasn't picking up any more dirt/grime. then after thoroughly cleaned you STILL have to wipe the area again with alcohol wipes to remove the stuff the soap and water couldn't get, then finally one last time rub it with a clean, dry microfiber cloth. DO NOT USE WINDEX OR GOO-GONE. These products will leave behind a residue that will, over time, break down the glue used by products like this.

Waste of time and money. Cheapest thing I have ever seen for a 60k truck blew off next day
