As someone who's 39, I’ve been on the lookout for a formula that provides great coverage without settling into fine lines or looking cakey, and this one has completely exceeded my expectations. The texture is so smooth and lightweight, yet it gives me the perfect amount of coverage to even out my complexion without feeling heavy.What really impressed me is how hydrating it feels, which is a must for my skin as I’ve gotten older. It doesn’t dry me out or highlight any dry patches, which I’ve had trouble with in the past. The finish is beautiful—natural and dewy, but not greasy, and it lasts all day without fading or getting patchy.I also love that it doesn’t settle into fine lines around my eyes or mouth, which is something I’ve been particularly sensitive to lately. The foundation feels comfortable and breathable, which makes it ideal for daily wear. Plus, it blends seamlessly and has a nice buildable coverage that can go from light to medium, depending on the look I’m going for.This has quickly become my go-to foundation for a flawless, natural look! Bare minerals all day, every day — my first time trying this. It is SO beautiful and natural looking; lots of shade options. Light to moderate coverage — it’s buildable (but also can get cakey if you really go wild). Neither matte nor shiny - the finish is amazing.The compact is way less messy than their loose powder foundation and easier to tuck in a purse (and includes a mirror and sponge for touch ups). No spf, however, unlike most of their foundations. I’m layering it over an spf lotion and primer.

I may have ordered a shade too light. I used to buy the shade "Golden Nude 13" -- which they either no longer carry, or have renamed -- and was going off Amazon pictures. I got "Fair 15 Warm" and it's close, but maybe a bit too light. I can make it work.The product itself is wonderful. Great coverage with little effort. Doesn't seem to settle in creases. Blendable, and long lasting. I don't use setting spray, and this didn't budge all night at work, which is saying a lot, because I have naturally oily skin, and it has been hot and humid out here.

Closet formula to the original BarePro Pressed powder. We all know the original BarePro powder was amazing and this is the closet redo they have had. It is perfect. It’s not cakey like the last 16 hr formula and glides on very well without looking powdery. It is truly a natural matte finish, not a flat matte. Builds nicely over blemishes and rosacea. I am so thrilled BareMinerals finally stepped up and did a formula change worth having. Please, for the love of all that is good, do not get rid of this formula.

When I found that my former brand of foundation powder was discontinued I started a search for another good plant based foundation. I checked the reviews of several and decided on Bare Minerals. I did have a bit of a problem finding the right color--had to return a couple before coming close to the color I had (though I wish it were just a little bit darker in tone). I am quite satisfied with the color and the product overall; it covers well and gives a smooth finish.
