One speaker DOA but good sound and good price.
Speakers are a great price and sound pretty good. Unfortunately one of the speakers was DOA. The tweeter works but the woofer didn't work from the beginning. I hooked the speakers up and ran through the audio setup on my Denon receiver. All of the speakers did the Denon test sounds but one of the speakers only played high notes. I assumed it was part of the setup process since I'm new to Denon and let it be. I started playing some music at about 88% volume on the receiver (speakers are 100 want and the receiver is Max 105 wants) and could smell burning. I pulled the speaker apart and the voice coil was burned up and completely separated from the cone. I'm guessing there was a short which is why the test sounds weren't working and when I tried to play music it fried it. Will update my review if Klipsch actually answers the phone and help me with a warranty claim.UPDATEI got ahold of Klipsch and they had excellent customer service. I've got a pair of replacement speakers on the way.

Great speakers at a great price
I was looking to replace an older Panasonic 5.1 surround sound system. I decided on these speakers because I know Klipsch makes quality products, and the price was in the range of what I wanted to pay.I am very happy with this system. The sound is clear and crisp, with deep thundering bass, which is ultimately what's most important. The subwoofer has a built-in amplifier, which turns on automatically when it senses a signal from the receiver, and turns off automatically a few minutes after there is no signal. You can also tell the quality of these speakers by the relative "heavy" weight, which means they have large magnets, which is one of the most important components of a speaker.I few years ago I spent a lot more money on a Bose surround speaker set (easily twice the price). That system is very good, but I don't see it being twice as good as this set. I would consider them equal in terms of overall sound quality.By the way, I paired this with a Marantz NR1509 receiver. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CVJ56WZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Broke within month
Sounded great for less than month then power supply burnt up on internal board. No wasn't using to much power in fact, system was turned off but because sub was in on position, guess that messed it up. Nothing about this in manual or any warning labels about this either. Why have an Upton to leave on if may burn out the power supply

So far it is easily a 5 star system
I have had this speaker system for about 3 weeks. I will update the review when it breaks/i have to replace anything. So far it is easily a 5 star system. I have the bass on 4 and it shakes my entire room. The speaker clarity is extremely high. They are small speakers for sure, but they are very loud and sound amazing. You definitely want a 300-400 dollar receiver with this system to maximize the sound quality. The best way to test speakers I have found is to listen to jazz music for awhile and make sure you can distinguish every note, and there is no muddyness in between the notes. The front L,R speakers need to be turned up +1 +1 I found. Also the center speaker i have turned up +2. This makes the dialogue a lot better in movies/tv. Depending on your receiver their could be movie modes which automatically do this.

Highly Recommend, Great Product
I spent quite some time researching speakers in this price range, and ending up settling on the Klipsch HDT-600. I have only the 2 front speakers, the center speaker, and the subwoofer setup at this point and it sounds amazing in my 15X10 room. One suggestion is to use a good quality subwoofer cable. I picked up a Dynex cable from Best Buy which is a single male-to-male RCA connector type, and the subwoofer made a continuous humming noise when powered on and was not in use. After reading reviews, I purchased the KabelDirect Pro Series "Y Style" subwoofer cable from Amazon and it has made all the difference in the world, no more humming noise.

Great "full" sound without that air wave burst that some sub woofers deliver. Install was pretty easy. My new home theater is really coming together. I hooked this surround system up with two Infinity floor standing speakers and run the whole speaker system with an ONKYO TX-NR626. This system sounds amazing for music or movies. The best way to maximize the sound of a surround system to do your research and buy a good quality A/V Receiver. Otherwise you are limiting the capability of your surround speakers. Don't forget to add a good pair of front main speakers as well if you want the "punch" delivered by the movie theaters.

Like the speakers a lot
Like the speakers a lot. The satellite speakers are tiny but definitely pack a punch, And the subwoofer is really really good. Even though its set at half the max volume it still vibrates my windows which are quite sturdy in itself. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to setup their first home theater system to get an idea of what needs they have. You can always just substitute them if you have different requirements. Was worried that the center channel might not be loud enough. But after tweaking it a bit it I could easily hear all the dialogues.
