Chelsea curto does it again, for a second time in the DC stars series we get an incredible book
★★★★◆ (4.5/5)🌶🌶🌶 (3/5)God this book was amazing. The developtment of the relationship was everything that is right in life, the timing the storyline, the writing they all harmonize together and create this masterpiece of a relationship that stands on actual memorable people. The spice was great, it was different every time and i like how it started out slow and then began to grow because we could experience the build up with the fmc and that made me understand the characters and the story better.Their relationship was flawless, they could be a real couple for all i know, that was executed wonderfully. I also enjoyed the cameos we got of past couples and ither characters throughout the series since it gives it a scense of reality and normality like their storiea follow a timeline and it's not messy. The whole plot and storyline was also interesting and i was always waiting for the time of the day i could lay down and continue reading. I also enjoyed that the book was constantly diving into the sports topic, it felt like a real sporta romance since it makes their lives more realistic, i liked that hockey was a constant in the story something unfortunately not every author manages.I really recommend this series since the both books i have read so far have been absolutely increadible.

Obsessed with this series!
𝕊𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕪.𝕤𝕞𝕦𝕥𝕥𝕪.𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕤 𝕣𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘:𝕊𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪: ♾️✨/5𝕊𝕡𝕚𝕔𝕖: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5*takes deep breath* I. Loved. This. Book! Before I get into my review, I would love to thank LoveNotes PR and the author Chelsea Curto for choosing me to receive this incredible ARC!!I laughed, I cried, and I genuinely loved every single moment of this read! Liam’s quiet love for Piper was beautiful and awe-inspiring. It felt very ‘it’s always been you’ kind of trope! There were some moments where I wanted to yell at both characters when they got in their own way.Power Play was definitely different from any of Chelsea’s previous books. We see a lot of friendship/sex coach building. I will admit, it threw me off at first. But it was so beautiful to watch their love story grow from acquaintances to friends/lovers to full fledged love *sigh*. And when the spice hit, it REALLY hit!! *phew 🥵*Piper was an absolute badass woman! I loved how she grew her confidence in both her personal and professional lives! We also see our favorites from Face Off (Mav and Emmy are very much present and I loved their moments throughout the book). I’m so excited for Hudson’s story next! What to look for:- Grumpy/sunshine- NHL Goalie/Reporter- Boy obsessed- Found family- Teach Me (🥵🥵🥵)- Fake Dating- Accidental Marriage of Convenience (🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼)
