Great Addition to Camping Gear
Got these radios for our camping adventures when we find ourselves in areas with minimal cellular coverage. I especially like the NOAA Weather radio feature to keep us on our tows for any severe weather (I've been on a CO mountain side when you start to feel the static electricity in the air just before a storm, not a fun time). These radios performed as expected. Using the manual, I was able to follow along and access the various features and set up the radios for our use. That said, navigating through the settings/features was not intuitive to me. Maybe after frequent use / repetition, it will become easier for me. Until then, I will be sure to make multiple copies of the manual available, both hard-copy and softcopy (on my phone) for quick reference. Later this spring, I will get to test the range on a lake that has a dead zone for cell phones. My guess, like most radios of this type, the max range is for line of sight / no major obstructions in the way. For now 4 stars.

Reliable 2 way radio/Walkie talkie
These walkie talkies are a lifesaver. I can't think of a better thing to have in your emergency kit or to take camping or hiking. They have so many uses, but for me they were especially helpful during a big storm we recently had. The power, internet, and cell services went out for 24hrs and we had several tornado warnings. I was able to use the walkie talkies to access the NOAA emergency weather station and get necessary information which was super helpful. The flashlight was really only useful for reading the directions in the dark but not bright for long distances. The directions were a bit confusing as I've never used walkie talkies before and am a novice but they were understandable enough for me to figure it out. I haven't been able to field test these at far range yet so I can't comment on distance. I was able to pick up a conversation or two, but I have no idea how far away they were. It did come through very clear and understandable. I would love to try these out on a camping trip or hike and update the review to reflect how well these work at far distances. They seem really good quality and they work great so I feel like they'd be pretty reliable and accurate to their description of working up to 30~38 km (approx 23.6 miles). These are definitely perfect for any outdoorsman and a good value.

These look simple enough, but read the instructions....
Or you can miss a lot of options. We live in a place in Northern Arkansas called the Ridge. It is the end of the geographical mountain range that covers part of Arkansas. This ridge also often protects us from tornados, when they are all around us,as well as blocks phone signals and radio signals. The further away you get from this area, the better your phone, radio, etc works. I've never really seen anything that can overcome this ridge, except for certain 5G cell phones. Not all, some. There are 5 G phones that can be a mile from you and can't make a call out. Wifi doesn't really work unless you get it from a company that has sattellite ( no Elon kind around here yet that I know of) However, we took these out on a hike and we're still able to reach at about 14 miles, which was surprisingly clear. That's really the only field test I've been able to complete. We had an ice/snow storm a couple of days later and then 4 days after the freeze lifted we had almost 60 degrees temps and flooding from torrential rains. So, I can tell you these work better than I expected. They were charged overnight both before and after this so I can't tell you how quickly they can charge. I can tell you that we were out on foot about 4 hours and on 4 wheelers another 2 or 3 hours and these still had a charge. We did not sit and talk on them like a cell phone however as that is not what they are for. I have not used them at their full capacity for communication ,but I will work with them more and keep records on distance time and location. We were out in the woods during 9% of our testing and I know I dropped mine at least 4 times, but it left no marks or scratches. Nor did it damage components, so I'd say they are pretty durable. I will update this review in approx 30 days.

Excellent distance coverage!
I got these walkie talkies and wasn't sure what to expect. Upon charging them and using them however I have been really impressed! They work so well and the distance is amazing. I tested it out one day and was surprised at how far I could get away from the base and the other walkie-talkie and it still worked! If you need to stay in touch while you're on the job site, while you're traveling, or even just playing around in the yard then I would definitely recommend these! I have had them for over a month now and have had no issues. They are made very well and have not shown any signs of wear and tear.
