I love this food sealer, wow! It beats my old food saver stick model from the days that they first came out. I got sick of having to press so hard and so long to get it to seal. My old one just made me so mad I just trashed it, I guess I just lost my patience and got tired of all the work for one vacuum packed food item per hour! This Bonsenkitchen food sealer is in a whole different level of suction power and design. The speed of the vacuum sealer is awesome. I have arthritis and the weight of the Bonsenkitchen is so lightweight and easy. This machine is a miracle! What are you waiting for it is a winner in every way!

This machine is just super! It requires not even some assembly and only a quick glance at the well-written instruction booklet, the author of which is most assuredly ESL. It operates more quickly than comparable devices, is flexible in terms of bag size capability, accommodating bags up to 11”x20’ in size (in case you should want to vacuum pack three pairs of skis end-to-end) and operates in any of its several modes with the push of a button. The only problem I have experienced with it is a little bruising I suffered until I got more comfortable sleeping with it. I couldn’t recommend a product more heartily. Five Stars!

I've used it just once thus far after going grocery shopping. I love it! I sealed meat for the freezer, fresh vegetables to make them last longer & even a loaf of bread (it was buy 1, get 1) to put in freezer (use pulse & vac to avoid smashing totally). The much cheaper food sealer I had copped an attitude & started working intermittently (first one I had tried & didn't want to spend a lot of money if it didn't work or save me money). Thought I would spend a little more money on a better made product. This is so easy to use and I have no complaints at this point. It also has a 3 yr. warranty which is great! Saves so much money in avoiding waste (not having to deal with freezer burn) & fresh vegetables last longer. I think I can reseal bag as I take product out - we'll see. I believe this was a great buy. Totally recommend.

I bought these to better preserve frozen foods. With the price of food rising, no one can afford to let food go bad. While I am satisfied with mine, there are a few things you should know:(1) It is tricky trying to lift the handle to open. The instructions do not tell you how to do this. I tried, my daughters tried and my husband tried but it just would not open. After a few minutes of all of us trying, it still wouldn't budge so I decided to return it. Now, I don't know what made me decide to press down on the top of the machine (left side) with my left palm while using my right hand to pull up the handle but that worked! We couldn't believe that was the trick, so I closed it and tried it again and it worked! The directions should tell you that and I was minutes away from boxing this up and sending it back.(2) If this is your first time using one, in the beginning you may waste a few bags before you perfect which size bag to use and cut it in the right place. While I'm not 100%, I'm almost there. It comes with plenty of bags.(3) The machine is sensitive. If you are trying to use it and your food item has left over juice or it is wet, it wont work. There are directions that tell you how to seal in cases like that but you really need to be careful because I wasted a few bags.(4) At times, this seals the bag with zero room left and at others, it seals but there still appears to be some air. I have not figured out how to remedy this.(5) Be warned that while it may seal your food items completely and with little to no air, if they remain in the freezer for too long, freezer burn will eventually creep in.(6) Lightweight and no assembly required.(7) There is a built-in cutter. Before your item is sealed, make sure the cutter is on the left side so that you can cut from left to right in one swipe.Overall, for the price, I rate this 4.5 out of 5 stars although there was no half star. If you're new to this, there will be trial and error. Just please be sure to follow my instructions for lifting the handle.

This is a fantastic machine! I have owned and wore out several vacuum sealing machines. They have gotten weaker and less reliable over the years to where I started checking out other options. This machine rated #1with several sites. I liked that quietness was touted as one detail plus quicker, more powerful vacuuming. I decided to give it a try as the price was reasonable too.It seals quickly, it is quieter than any I've owned and has options for foods with liquid. I am very glad I purchased this machine and hope to get many years of sealing from this product.

Just bought, already using. So usually when I buy a new appliance it takes forever to get it out of the box and figure out how to use properly. I wanted this because I like to prepare food ahead of time and take it with me (frozen) on camping trips. My first trip of the season is in less than two weeks. Not using containers will cut down on weight in an already heavy cooler. I looked at the Amazon video and figured this thing out immediately. I sealed up Shepherd’s pie. So kinda loose meat and potatoes. Worked great. Now I’m gonna make home made apple crisp. And freeze that too. I’m super relieved it worked as well as the reviews said it would.

My 2nd Food sealer from this company. I had a small compact one. But upgraded to this one. It's a bit different and takes a bit getting used to. But well worth it and cost is still low as most of there products are. Very well built, full control of how much air to be sucked out. Full control of sealing. Very nice product.

The delivery was as promised with 1 caveat: the box, in stead of being placed behind our front porch wall, was left in the middle of the top step in plain sight for porch pirates. The item ordered was in good, undamaged shape and worked as advertised without a problem.
