I have been using this product for a long time - probably 11 years. I love how it helps me to not have pain and be able to move. I have a bad scoliatic back, bad hips ( I have had one hip joint replacement several years ago but not the other), and bad knees (I have had lateral releases and arthoscopic on both my knees and have deep crevices under both knee caps where the cartilage is gone) plus I have arthritis. Only pain I sometimes get now is a little in my lower back if I walk a long way without my cane ( I am also about 40 lbs overweight and nearly 70 yrs old). If I am just doing my normal activities including a day of shopping and errands, I have no pain because of flexicose plus. I can tell how much the flexicose plus helps as on rare occasions I run out of the product or forget to take it and within 24 hours I am in hurt city - bad. My dog (a lab) is 11 yrs old and was starting to walk slow, limp badly, and seemed to be in a lot of pain. He would even chew on his wrists until they bleed. After taking Xrays, the vet said he was very arthritic, I started giving him my flexicose plus a few months ago and within a couple of weeks he was running and acting like a much much younger dog. He is 75 lbs and I give him a teaspoon each day in the morning. I pour it on his food and then add a little roast beef to disguise the taste and smell of the flexicose plus. He hasn't chewed on this front paws since (after a couple of weeks of taking it). If you start taking this, give it a few weeks to take effect before you judge it's effectiveness. Also it has a slight taste that at first may seem a little unpleasant - sort of a slight fishy smell. After a couple of times you won't even notice that. I highly recommend this product. Of all the things I have tried, this works the best. I tried Move Free and other products but they didn't help. I read that you only get about 10% absorption from them as they are pills. Flexicose is a liquid so you get 100% of the value. I take it straight from a spoon first thing in the morning. I take a tablespoon each morning. I store it in the refrigerator.

I still use it, hoping it will help. My doctor is ambivalent about the value of this product. I like it bette than the pills.

Even not suitable for shellfish allergy.
