I just upgraded my 32 GB (16 GB pair) of DDR5 RAM to this "G. Skill Flare x5" pair for 64 GB total. It is a special version that works on both AMD & Intel systems due to having both BIOS overclocking schemes EXPO & EXP on-board. It was amazing to see how much better my gaming PC ran DCS World (AH-64D) and MSFS 2020 (S300cbi) helicopters in Pimax Crystal Light VR! Was finally able to engage NVIDIA DLSS in MSFS 2020 and see much sharper resolution, especially with instruments in the cockpit. This was a less expensive option for me to try instead of going for a more expensive GPU upgrade, but for now was well worth it. I currently run on an RTX 4070 Super with 12 GB VRAM and would like to eventually upgrade to the RTX 5070 ti or above when prices hopefully come down.

Needed higher capacity, low profile (33mm tall) ram to meet production needs while fitting in a very tight space. EXPO settings worked on 1st boot with very minimal training time after selecting the profile in bios. Been stable and cool ever since. Memory paired with Ryzen 7800x3d on a MSI MAG X670e Tomahawk motherboard. Super easy.

I’ve run this in 6 of my recent builds - all sets have run flawlessly. Great value for the price and no need for Rgb on ram imo.

These were installed in a Asrock X870E Nova motherboard with a AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D cpu and it booted right up and when expo was turned on to run at 6000 there were no hiccups or surprises.. Thank You G-Skill. I'm never dissapointed in your products.

After lots of random problems with a new build I ran memtest and these failed. I returned the DIMMS.This was the first time I have used G-Skill (which was on my mobo's certified list) so instead of trying the brand again I went with a different one which has passed every test.On new builds I will now always manually set the memory speed instead of relying on the AUTO modes. And one of the first things that will happen is booting memtest on a thumb drive and testing the memory. Doing a good memory test is much less painful and time-conserving than the trouble random system errors. The sooner you can warranty a bad part the better.Two stars instead of one because Amazon made it right with no fuss.

It's ram. It was the best price and works for my am5 system. I've never had issues with g.skill.
