My parrots refuse to eat it
My 3 parrots ( 1 african grey and 2 senegal parrots ) have had palm oil for years, buy the all refuse to eat this type. I think I know why. It has a strong smell. It smell like it's smoked! Why?

Stays Liquid; Easy Open Bottle
We've tried other brands of red palm oil for our parrot. This one seems easiest to use. So far it has stayed liquid at room temperature. (Other brands have solidified or gotten sludgy.) I use a clean spoon to scoop out a little and coat my bird's pellet food. The screw on cap is easy to use and wide enough to get the spoon inside. Be sure to shake the bottle before using as there can be a little separation of the oil/sediment. Red Palm Oil does stain, and it needs soap to wash off. I put the bird dishes in the dishwasher, but they do often have some residual red left on, even after that. I'm hoping it will improve our bird's feather condition.

Decent
Bottle was a little dented in when arrived but not damaged. Love bird seems to accept it ok so far.
