Insect Lore Funtastic 4 Cups of Caterpillars

We ordered the 4 pack and this was the worst batch we’ve ever had. Most of us had caterpillars that barely grew and only 2 or three butterflies emerged from each batch. I know it’s nature, and there are no promises, but I’ll probably go back to the former company we’ve used in the past.

All the caterpillars went into chrysalis mode so far. There was enough food, they seem healthy and fat.

These came in as fully grown caterpillars and a few chrysalis’. Obviously a return from someone because the shipping label inside was not my name. Very disappointed.

Our caterpillars arrived earlier than expected. I purchased the 4 cups. I, however, am disappointed because one of my cups had 4 of the 5 caterpillars come dead. This is for Kindergarten and the disappointment is felt throughout the classroom. In my purchase I bought these for three other kindergarten classrooms and now one is without the five and only has one. This is my only disappointment.

Ordered teller 4 cups with 5 caterpillars each and two of the cups came with only 3 caterpillars 😞We had some sad kindergarteners! I know it’s not a guarantee but…that’s almost a whole cup short!

I purchased these for our first grade teachers. 4 of the 5 cups I purchased were great. Almost all the caterpillars made it and turned into a chrysalis. In one cup, 3 cats turned into a chrysalis and then dropped off the cup lid. 2 of the caterpillars died. They had to order new caterpillars for that class. I usually have great luck with these.

Upon arrival there was a 15% mortality rate.

One of my cups of caterpillars had only one caterpillar survive out of 5. This was disappointing for one of the kindergarten classes at my school. It would be great to get a replacement cup!
