This Is My Daily Driver
The media could not be loaded. I use this electric kettle about 3-5 times a day at work for the last 6 months, and it's been an amazing investment.Pros:- Temperature Thermometer is accurate and unlike many pots I've had claiming this feature, this one will actively drop in temp if you add cool water to the reservoir.- Rapid boiling for a kettle; this is partly due to its smaller size,- No ridges like other collapsible travel kettles. Smooth walls make for easy cleanup and the material seems thicker than the accordion versions I've tested.- Keep warm feature keeps the water above 60°C for a few hours, so if you need to boil quickly (say right before a meeting), it'll do it in half the time.- Other features like delay start and tea will control when and how long the device turns on. For example boil egg will keep the water boiling for a set period of time. Because of the timer and delay start features there's a lot of ways to control this kettle beyond many similarly priced versions.Cons:- Handle: The snap for the handle needs to be pressed firmly and requires you to adjust your grip. When you pour, you cannot put your hand on it because it's a press release, and since it's at the top of the kettle I almost released mine the first time I picked it up. However the adjustment was easy for me to make and has had no further issues.- Electrical cord location: The cord is behind the control panel on the back, meaning it's on the side when you are gripping it by the handle. I know why this was part of the design (so the handle could fold seamlessly) but I kinda wish the handle was a turn type instead, because when you cleanup the pot, you are holding by the handle and trying to keep both the control panel and the power outlet clear. I've ended up holding the kettle by the base to clean as the control.Moots:- Touch interface. Some people will like it, some people won't. I personally like it despite the few times it doesn't register, because I hate when I've had button ones that require me to hold the unit just to press down. I'd rather the one handed operation any day.- C° Display: I personally prefer Celsius because it's the temperature system based on water boiling, and it's more accurate for teas and coffee. However since so many items in the US list F°, it is sometimes a pain to translate these temps. I don't mind figuring this out myself as this pot is designed for countries using the metric system.Spout: The water pour is precise, but it's sensitive because it's spout is short. This because it's so compact and I've have this with other kettles that are designed with short spouts. This means you have to pour slowly and press on the lid to create a tight seal. If you pour too fast, the water shoots a good 3-5 inches away from the spout, depending on the amount and heat of the water. It's predicable, but something that takes time to learn.

Excellent electric kettle!
It takes about 8 minutes to boil a full kettle of room 68 degree water. However, I use this with my power station so I try to conserve power. I only boil what I need at the moment. Typically, enough water for a cup of coffee or tea (12oz). That only takes about 3 mins. It's the perfect size. Much easier than pulling out my induction burner and sauce pan. I look forward to testing its noodle boiling function. It's a little pricey but mostly worth it for its functionality and collapsiblity. It does read in Celsius and I haven't figured out if it can be changed to Fahrenheit yet.

Works well with some draw backs.
Works well as a water heater. Took 6.5 minutes to go from ambient to 100 C. Cuts off right at 100 C so water did not come to a full boil. If one is to make tea or instant coffee this works well.I like how compact it is to pack for travel.Only works with 110 v system, so need to be aware for international travel.

Clean small and simple.
It's small and packs easily, is easy to clean and dry, heats my coffee water in the morning, and I put it away right after. I like it.

Super fast and easy while sturdy
The best collapsible Kettle I've tried think this is my third oneit's made very well & at no time was I afraid of spilling boiling water on myself like I was with some othersIt heats water very quickly so if making coffee or even tea don't walk away or you'll just be waiting for it to cool back down ( the water )

Good size, good quality
I haven't tested it yet, but I have opened it and checked it. Everything is good so far. I will take it to Taiwan, so I hope it will be normal when I use it.

More negative than positive features
This has a 600 watt heating element versus a 1000 to 1500 watt for other kettles. It can take up to 5 minutes to boil water. If you're using for camping and going through an inverter, this may be an advantage as the power requirements are smaller. The water is less likely to violently boil over as well. If you're impatient and can't wait to get to that first cup of coffee, 5 minutes can seem like an eternity. You can of course, use a smaller quantity of water to speed the process along too. Just something to be aware of.One of my bigger complaints is that the top is not hinged, and there really is no way to secure it. In my opinion, this is downright dangerous. The manufacturer needs to look into a better way to secure the top. It's very easy if you're trying to use 100 percent of the water for the top to just fall off, and then a flood of hot water comes pouring out of it all over the counter and possibly on your hands. Seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. A twist to lock, a magnetic lock or simply a hinge would be three methods that would work better. The manufacturer needs to remedy this issue. There is a short power cord and you cannot collapse the unit without removing it. This also means when do you want to fill the unit you have to unplug it. I guess I can see a little bit of a safety factor here and that you can't put this underneath the sink while it's still plugged in. Perhaps this was the reasoning of the manufacturer making such a small cord? I don't know, but a magnetic base I think would be better. When you pick this up to pour the water out you also have to deal with this short cord. It doesn't seem particularly well designed. This uses a computer style power cord so you can buy a longer one as a workaround. These types of power cords are very common and you may already have one in your house.I've used this a few times to boil some eggs and have to say this is one of my more favorite features. After you toggle to the egg icon, you then use the furthermost left button and you can adjust the time. You're putting your eggs in the water before you start this, so if you go with a standard 10 minutes, you will overcook. Dropping it down to 9 minutes worked out perfectly in my case, but if you want a slightly softer interior, it's nice to have this adjustment feature.I've not used the noodle or the Tea setting, but having these features in general is nicer than just a standard kettle that heats only. I believe there is a keep warm feature as well. I can see this being quite useful if you're having more than one cup of coffee or you just want some water available to top off your Tea, whatever. Again, most other kettles don't have these features at all. This is a 5-star feature to me.The interior seems more like a aluminum than stainless steel. After just a couple of uses it was already etched. The manufacturer needs to go with a higher quality stainless steel material. I did go back and read the specifications and it states this is a 302 stainless steel, but for whatever reason after the first use it showed etching. Not a very high quality alloy, which is unfortunately pretty typical of Chinese made products.I have not noticed any white residue on the interior mentioned in other reviews, but to be honest I wasn't paying that close of attention, so will look at that more closely. I can say I've noticed etching or a white residue on the metal portion that is supposed to be stainless. I don't think anyone wants to be ingesting some unknown white residue. In summary, these are the features I think the manufacturer needs to look at and also the consumer needs to consider:1: Bumping up the heating element to an 800 or 1000 watt would be much better.2: A way to secure the top to avoid it falling off while pouring boiling hot water should be a priority. This is dangerous, and somebody's going to get hurt.3 A magnetic base combined with a slightly longer cord I think, would be a huge improvement.4: An improved alloy for the interior, such as stainless steel, would be a huge improvement.5: Since this is sold in the United States, it would also be nice to have a Fahrenheit setting as opposed to just theCelsius. I don't think that would be all that difficult to program into the microprocessor chip, considering the otherfeatures of the kettle. While I like a lot of the features there are too many negatives for me to want to keep this, so I am returning.
