The quality and materials are well enough. The only issue I had with the case was the need to keep my knees together when case was resting on my lap.I believe 2 or 3 inches in width would have allowed for a comfortable rest on the lap eliminating the constant need to hold knees in check. Otherwise very functional if your needs are minimal.

Great item and great seller

This is a neat little case. If you need to transport something flat I think it will be a good choice.Out of the box it has two large foam pads inside. Both of these are removable, and there is some padding on the inside even with the large foam pads removed. With the foam pads installed you could probably get a few dozen sheets of paper, or other flat things 3-5mm tall. With both foam pads removed you could fit several hundred sheets of paper, 40-50mm.Quality is pretty good, all the edges seem to line up nicely. I do wish it had feet on the bottom so that it could stand vertically. And the keys are tiny and not very secure.

Though I'm a bit disappointed in the small size, it does come with customizable padding on the inside. It's definitely not metal, though, and I don't think it would be very durable if dropped a couple times. Kind of neat for very specific purposes, though.
