Thanks to the reviewer who posted how to access the battery cause I couldn't figure it out. You have to rotate the face to the left - counter clockwise - just a little bit - and the face (the actual remote control) comes off the steering wheel mount. Mine was EXTREMELY tight, to the point of almost giving up, but it finally broke free and rotated. That takes the remote OFF the mount, and theres another cover that needs a screwdriver to access the battery. The included double sided tape can be used to mount JUST the flat remote control on a flat surface. I had a Tunia remote on the steering wheel of the truck I use at work - (which looks nicer and cost 3x as much) that mounted magnetically on a base - but someone borrowed that truck ONCE and lost it. (of course). This is bigger, cheaper, and won't just knock off. So far it seems to work good. Actually connects faster than my last one. You need a tint Phillips screwdriver to get to the battery. The eyeglass bit on the Leatherman Wave fits perfectly.

This solved my bluetooth control of my music when I upgraded my motorcycle stereo. My amplifier has a bluetooth module hooked to it. This hooked to my phone seamlessly while my phone is hooked up to the bluetooth module. If you don't have handlebar controls on your motorcycle due to upgrades or whatever this will definitely solve that problem.

Does not stay connected on iphone 14 pro. Will connect fine on new bluetooth setup, and will work. But when it goes to sleep it will not wake up. none of the buttons work or lights up. As soon as i forget device on my phone it lights up and starts up again. Seems stuck on sleep until new pairing.

Stays connected, buttons are good. I had two similar crap out in few months span so here is hoping this one lasts longer.

This product comes with instructions, but they do not tell you everything you need to know, so I had to post a couple of questions on the Amazon listing to get answers. It paired very easily with my iPhone. All the buttons worked well when listening to a podcast...left button goes back several seconds, right button advances several seconds. Long press on the center button wakes up my phone, but not Siri - this may be due to settings on my individual phone. It took me a while to figure out how to access the battery. You have to rotate the face left and it pops off to reveal the battery compartment. You will need a small Phillips head screwdriver to access the battery. I plan on using this unit on my golf cart. It does get wet occasionally, so we will see how well the IP67 rating works.

This is an easy Bluetooth connecting remote. Paired with my phone quickly with no issues. The problem is, I needed a way to control my aftermarket android radio while using wireless Android auto. Unfortunately, this will not pair with the system via Bluetooth to give you control. Also the device build quality is average. Feels like cheap plastic that will break easily.
