I got a whopper! Dont judge me, does it look like I have that much hair? First off, this is a shout out to all the folks that are not mechanically inclined in the least..I was asked to review this product, and normally, I would have taken the request with a grain of salt but I am very pleased with the outcome! I used it on my tub and had it draining in under 20 minutes; that includes gearing up (gloves and tool and bath prep), discovering the problem (finding the clog), fixing the problem (pulling up that trophy clog), and clean up (winding the tool back into place and putting things back).Before you call a plumber, before you spend hours trying to plunge or manipulate a coat hanger, buy this product.It comes with gloves, the tool itself, and it's own little bag. Great value for the price paid: a twenty spot and a 2 day wait was a bargain! Plus the satisfaction of actually being able to remedy the problem myself. This, folks, is the solution!Easy to use, quick delivery, nice gear, courteous Customer Service (I'm assuming). It arrived and I used it that very night. Had a clog in my kitchen sink. It worked wonderfully! Glad to have it for any future plugs. Nice that it has a bag to keep it in.

I bought this to unclog my bathtub shower combo because all of a sudden for days the water would just go down slowly so I bought the plastic sticks that are meant to unclog drains but it did not work at all. I think they were too short and it made things worse because the water started draining even slower, so much so that the tub would start to fill up with water.I looked up longer products because the clog was further down than the plastic kind would reach and I found this product that looks like the ones plumbers use but in a smaller size. I'm so glad I found this because it worked really well. The instructions are on the back of the label taped to the drum of the plumbing snake auger and they were easy to follow. I like how bendable the snake is so you can get it right where you need. Though you may have to unscrew something in your tub if it has a cross metal thing on it that might not let the snake in.I followed the instructions and on the first try I got out a small clump of hair and on the the second try I got the major clog that was causing all the problems. I did not get any gloves in my delivery even though it mentions it in the description but I had my own disposable ones and you do need them if you don't want the gunk to get on your hands. It did come with the drawstring bag.Cleaning the snake is sort of easy you just rinse it off and let it air dry before attempting to put it back in the drum. Also you may want to spray it with wd40 oil to keep it from rusting. Putting it back you just have to push the snake back in manually but I wish it were easier to do this like turning the drum would pull it back in but you must do it manually.I am so glad I bought this auger because living in an apartment I often times get clogs either in the kitchen sink or bathroom sinks and even tubs because of other tenants and this way I can take care of a clog faster than having to wait for the manager to send someone. The ease of use was very good for me. I would recommend this auger because it works on clogs that other products may not reach or drain cleaners would be too slow to unclog. When you see the picture of my clog I don't think a drain cleaner would have worked and I would have wasted my money like I did with the plastic drain sticks.

The directions were a little confusing but it did the job.

Best 27 dollars I’ve spent.My tub was draining slow and I had a little dingy crappy snake so I attempted to use it and maybe help the clog. To my surprise instead of helping the matter it just made it worse.No draining. Not even a little.So I bought this little contraption and to be quite honest I almost returned it because… I figured I’d leave it to the professionals but…. the guy I called was busy.. & after stressing out over it for another 24 hours I figured …what the hell it couldn’t hurt to try. (tbh, I was also just kind of anxious and didn’t want to bother the guy again)WHEN I SAY THIS WAS EASY… I mean it was EASSSSYYYYY. 1 minute in I heard the GLORIOUS sound of a gargle and the water started to go drain.2 mins later I pulled out this monster.10/10 one of the grossest things ever but hey, I feel pretty darn accomplished.From this day forward screw the plants and kitchenware this is going to be my new house warming gift to anyone. ESPECIALLY anyone with hair. Lifesaver. Money saver. I can’t rave enough. If you’re on the fence… buy it. Trust me. If I can go it… you can too.

I used this drain snake to clear a clogged standpipe. After purchasing a new washing machine water kept overflowing from the standpipe. For days I tried to remove the clog naturally but gave up and purchased this snake. This drain snake worked like a charm. My standpipe is about three ft tall from the floor so I needed a snake with enough reach to make it to the clog and beyond. This drain had more than enough reach.I fed the long thread down the standpipe, turned and turned some more, fed the line down further, and was able to retrieve the clumps that clogged the drain. I had a tough clog and had to do this several times. As I brought the snake out of the drain, I was so thankful that I had on the gloves that came with it because what came out was disgusting. This product saved me money and put my mind at ease. No more overflows or water on my floor. I cleared the clog without harsh chemicals that could have damaged my pipes. The bag came in handy after my work was completed. I highly recommend!
