Can you put a 10ga cable through the hole?

I was able to put 8ga cable without a struggle, so 10ga should fit easilly.

For those who drilled holes to attach cable entry gland to the rv roof, how many holes did you have to drill and what size screws did you use?

I centered the holes in each corner then split the center again for a total of 8 holes . All equal spacing . I used #10 ss pan head Philips drive screws. I also used 3m marine sealant on the screws and bottom of housing to assure a water tight seal. Hope this helps.

The rubber sleeves in this gland can handle 2-6 mm or .0787-.2362 in or 5-15/64ths in. diameter wire and jacket. How many conductors do you have in one wire? 1 or 12 ? What amperage do you expect to carry? 12 or 40 amps? Look up the specs on 10 AWG wire and you can decide whether this entry gland will work for the size wire you decide to use. You may also need to pull up a mm to in calculator when determining wire size. Good Luck.
