I followed the directions to the T , when I keyed up , was matched in perfectly first time

It came very well packaged and secure. It looks to be a sturdy antenna especially after having a cheep Amazon 10/11 meter special that was such poor quality and this wasn't that much more expensive. I believe it's quite well made and at a good price point. In the end it's working great! 25 countries, 14 states in an afternoon. It didn't seem to want to tune well on a 10 ft mast before taking it on the roof - got it the best I could. I planned on using my own sloping resonant radials on the roof but it didn't tune well to that so I used the factory ones and it still didn't like that either. I'm kinda stumped there. SWR, resistance and reactance were way out of whack. I connected my radials and everything came into place using both the factory radials and my own resonant sloping ones. Vertical antenna cant have too many radials.

What else to say? Creat craftsmanship, set out of the box, and blows away any Fiberglass stick. Easy install.

Excellent antenna for the price. Highly recommend it to anyone not looking to break the bank. Made of quality Aluminum, and bottom tuning system is very easy to tune. For the price of this antenna i don't know why anyone would spend more on a fiber glass antenna like the A99, which is nothing more than a wire in a fiber glass tube. Aluminum antennas outperform and cause much less interference than fiber glass. Your spending less and getting a much better antenna.
