Product was not new. Two terminal points were bent inward and the frame was bent as well. A thin layer of either Grey dust or ash covered the unit. Test results showed inconsistent results.

Worked just as needed for our old double wide trailer ac unit.

Haven't installed it yet but have tested it with my meter and everything seems fine...good quality and very heavy...will install this tomorrow pm...very good value and fast shipper...will buy again

I purchased this transformer to replace a B1141643 transformer of a roof HVAC unit. This transformer was identical in all respects except for the brand name. The new transformer was not wrapped well during transport – bubble wrap, small soft-wall paper box, and an Amazon plastic bag. The transformer arrived outside the paper box, as I would expect, and it sustained some superficial damage – several bent connectors and a bent mounting bracket. There was no obvious damage to the transformer body. I was able to straighten the connectors and bracket, but was unable to install/test the transformer. The old transformer started working again (probably just had a loose connector), so I did not install the new one. I believe the new transformer is still good despite the superficial damage it sustained. I would advise the seller to at least pack future transformers in stiff cardboard boxes that would not open up if it was tossed around. Transformers are pretty tough, but they won’t survive if they don’t have ample protection.

Cost effective solution and I do agree with the other reviewer that the packaging was not the best, however mine did arrive ok.
