Perfect for led lights or lamps
I got some led lights that didn't have a remote and they plugged right into this and works perfectly

Will not pass data
This USB switch seems to only cut power but it does not pass data at all. If you need to control both power and date best to look elseware.

Works fine so far. 3 amps seems to be the useful limit.
Works fine.Pros+ Good range on the remote, it's RF, not IR line of sight.+ has power indicator on both the remote and the USB switchCons- adds resistance to the circuit, lowers the voltage somewhat. Handles 2.8 amps ok but drops 250mV at the time.- Power only, doesn't pass data, that would be useful if it did a safety for USB flash drivesSays it handles 5 amps..... well.... sort of. The voltage will be down after 3 amps of current or more. Even 2amps was down some as expected.

Convenient power interruption when needed
I have a Pi zero that does a job, but needs an occasional power cycle. the outlet is not convenient, and I'd rather not abuse the micro USB port. This remote allows me to bounce the Pi zero easily without stretching to reach the plug.
