I have an old Kitchenaid mixer from the 70's. A friend gave it to me years ago but the gears could not be adjusted. We added a cord with a rheostat to use. Works perfectly. But the bowl without a handle had gotten harder to hold as I aged. This bowl is perfect.

This bowl fits my Kitchen Aid perfectly. My original metal bowl developed a dent some years ago, so I started using a glass one I bought second hand. It is just so heavy, and my hand strength has diminished with age, so I bought this to replace it. I’m very happy with it.

Compared To the original bowl that came with my Kitchen aid it is nearly identical! Someone reviewed that it felt flimsy- I disagree. It’s the same weight and quality as the original stainless mixing bowl. Awesome price.

Fits the Kitchen Aid stand mixer 4.5 -5 qt. perfect;ly; having the attached handle makes it easier to move around and lift off and on. Much easier to maneuver than the much heavier glass bowl.

I like the stainless steel bowl better then the glass.

Metal is too thin, but it's okay for an extra mixer bowl.

When I first got the bowl I put it on the mixer & it fit fine. The paddle scraped the edges, but nothing I couldn't fix with a slight adjustment. I thoroughly washed the bowl & made my first batch of bread and that's when I found the issue. My countertops & everything the bowl touched started to turn grey, but the worst part is my dough had grey all over it too! Everywhere the dough was touching the bowl was turning grey! I would say it was oxidation, but the bowl was properly hand washed & dried before use. Not sure if will be keeping this one.
