I wanted to try out a paint sprayer but I didn't want to spend a lot. I repainted my garage walls, trim, and ceiling with this using latex paint (home depot) and it came out fantastic. During the ceiling portion, the weight when full of paint made it a challenge, but the gun is seriously light without paint so I can't blame the unit. The result is the best interior paint job I've ever done - the paint is smooth and flat and so perfect, it's kind of shocking. Overspray wasn't something I had to contend with since everything was painted using the same paint/color, but you'll definitely want to mask and cover anything in the vicinity. Be sure to vent the environment well tooAlso be sure to pay attention to your sprayer tip. Paint build up will occur after a few fills so if you sense the spray coming out light, that's probably why. I just made it a point to clear it out when I had to refill paint and it was no longer an issue. Also it's entirely possible that I had used a suboptimal tip for the latex paint, but it was spraying so nicely I stuck with it.

I was unable to use it properly because of my inexperience with enamel latex paint, however the customer support was extremely active also to add few missing information related to the suitable tip for that kind of paint. After trying with a 2 mm tip (nozzle) I wanted to removed it without previosly release the pressure, but this caused a sprayed paint mess around plus a paint running backwards to the air hose. They promptly reply to my complaint within few hours helping in a very unusual and professional way. They really take care of their customers. I was literally impressed of them being very professional. Buying online by several years it’s the first time I had such a nice experience with a customer support

Firstly I would have to say that I liked using this sprayer once I got the hang of it . I have zero issues with it other than I damaged the pick up tube ( entirely my fault ) and I still can’t get them to send a replacement. I am about to give up and just buy another gun because they can’t get a 2 dollar part to me . It will not be the same brand because I think it’s ridiculous to not have the kind of customer support. Disappointed . Would have given 4 or 5 stars but I can only stare at the sprayer now and for the last couple months 🙄Update . The company reached out to me and replaced the part for free . The were extremely helpful and apologetic for the delay in part availability and even offered me a new sprayer . I declined as I was not in a rush and just waited for the replacement part . I’ve upgraded to 5 stars because I like the sprayer quality and the customer service won me back over . Thank you

It’s doing very good job

It worked OK to spray latex on an interior door, but was a huge PITA to clean up. Next tried to spay water/based stain with the smaller cap, would not spray at all. I thought it might be plugged but sprayed water just fine. Waste of money.

I had to thin my primer and used this sprayer for the first time. It is messy for sure with lots of blow back. Not much better than the less expensive Wagner sprayers. The best part was that the clean up with soap and warm/hot water went very well. I don't think I can recommend it.

I suspect there are machines that spray a finer or more consistent mist than this one, but for the price of this machine and what it can do, I give it 5 stars. I have used it to spray SW Emerald and Pro Classic and they spray just fine without any watering down. I have also sprayed low cost latex wall paint from ACE and HD and they also spray without dilution. With the self leveling paints (like Emerald) you can get a smooth finish even though these types of machines lay down a wet spitting like texture. That texture merges into a flat film if the paint has the time to merge together before it starts to dry. The turbine will start to get warm after more than minutes of use and heat is the enemy of electronics, so this might not last forever if you don't give it some rests to cool down. It's pretty simple to clean except for the paint jar. The jar is shaped in such a manner that it is difficult to get your hand in there and clean it out. So it takes a little extra cleaning effort, but many of these machines have a similar design. The nozzles are made of plastic so they will probably eventually fail, but I expect many years of use from mine before it needs to be replaced. Definitely a good starter HVLP if you're a newbie.
