My girlfriend suggested I looked at this knife because she knows I am a bit of a wanna be chef and enjoy cooking with different techniques. Some of these Japanese "style" knives sold online and in reputable stores can feel a bit cheap, so at 70 quid I was a bit sceptical. Having then done some research however I went into this with no concerns.The seller was great, delivery was on time and the product arrived well packaged and in a really lovely wooden presentation box, I've put a photo of it on here.I decided it's initiation should be preparing Asian food as this style of cooking uses lots of knife techniques. I was really impressed with the weight and balance of the knife as well as it's aesthetics. It cuts superbly, dicing, slicing, peeling and even hacking through a whole cauliflower head with accuracy was really easy.A little bit annoyed that it was quite simple dish because I actually can't wait to try again on some more complicated techniques. It cut through fish, vegetables and salad so well and with really great accuracy because it feels so nice in the hand.It's a bigger blade than I usually work with day to day in the family kitchen! It's more inline with a large chef's knife than a utility knife which normally gets me through a family meal, but having a really nice balance to it means you don't feel it's unwieldy.Don't get me wrong you could do some serious damage with this blade if you weren't concentrating! It's a great product, and I can't wait to use it again.

Never bought chef's knives online before but I had a chance to briefly handle one of these so decided would buy. Comes in lovely presentation box that would make it an ideal gift for a 'foodie'.The knife has a lovely weight and balance that sits well in the hand. The blade is a good size for general purpose use in the kitchen. The overall appearance and feel is of a good quality product.I gave it a whirl in the kitchen at the weekend. The blade is extremely sharp and sliced through vegetables with ease, cutting all the way through rather than force snapping the last bit. I also used it to trim a beef joint and then thinly sliced the cooked meat. It cut perfectly, no ragged edge on the meat.I'd definitely recommend this as a knife to have in a collection, I'm hoping different sized knives appear from the seller as I'd add others to my set of knives if so, based on this purchase.

Purchased the 8” Kokora Kitchen Blade and I am so incredibly impressed with this knife. I have other chef knives but I wanted something which felt more authentic and, had great detail as well (we all like to impress when having friends over for dinner right).I was so impressed with this knife and how it felt in the hand, the weight, length and size were a perfect balance in preparing dinner.For the price it’s definitely a good purchase either as a piece for your own drawer or to give as a gift.

Amazing quality, came well packaged, and in its own designated box. Really lightweight and provides a seamless cut. HOWEVER, this knife is insanely sharp, even straight out the box - cut myself on initial clean through my cloth!!!

A good addition to the kitchen, nice and sharp. Great for the price.

knife is not as promised, only got good enough to use when i had to sharpen it myself, stay away from this purchase

Really pleased with this knife. I am a real foodie, and end up cooking all the time for my family. This knife is so light, it cuts easily and the results are super precise. The quality, handle and blade materials are clearly premium. Excellent all around, it just makes you want to improve your knife skills and would be a fantastic gift too .

Excellent knife...disappointed there is no knife blade protector supplied for when knife not in use - considering the price of the item?
