Even though I nought them in March, they sound good enough to keep for next winter.
I finally got helmet speakers! Yay, and these obviously. If your debating these over ear buds, for me it was obvious when I tried both side by side. My ear warmers on my helmet shift the ear buds in and out of position. Rarely would I get great music from both, at the same time. This was happening in my living room just looking around with music on. Skiing, I don't think ear buds will work for me. I am not discounting the fact that thousands of skiers use them all day every day without issues, but for me it was not happening. Maybe its the way my helmets ear covers are placed. So, these helmet speakers compared to others, like especially the ones that are half the price? I wish I knew! Please comment below. Do they sound good, yes. Do they compare to the 5th gen Sony's , the w*1000-xm5, depends on what your listening to but no, not that good. Do they lack bass just like the ear buds, yes, but there us some kind of thud sound that mimics the bass, bass drum, lower toms, but must of all are they tolerable enough to listen all day and enjoy yourvplaylist, yes they are. Other reviews give them great battery life too.I started looking for a downhill MTB helmet I can put them in, I hope I find one!Its the end of the ski season as I write this, I have plenty of time left to return them and use the $90 for something I could use all summer, but they sound good enough to keep, and wait patiently for next winter. I hope these impressions help

Poor quality
Poor quality sound, sounds like the built in speaker on the iPhone, very little bass. Also, fails to respond to command sometimes, just becomes completely non responsive.

These are the ones
After trying four different sets over the years these are by far my favorite. They drop in easier than the ones connected to each other by cord. They come out easier to charge and the charge case works like AirPods to recharge. Love them!

Nice value
Wasn’t sure about these. The sound is a bit lacking in base but otherwise I am very impressed. Charging case is good. Used them for 3 hours today and they still had 90% battery left. Easy to pause or advance tracking by tapping. I found a knuckle worked best.

Good but not great for snowmobiling
Fit comfortably in snowmobile helmet. Easy in and out for charging. Stayed charged a full day even in very cold conditions. Paired easily with phone and separate remote control.I only deducted a star due to sound quality. For the price I expected richer tones. It also didn’t pick up Siri directions well but was probably more to do with my heavily padded helmet and engine noise than the device. Still, don’t expect that feature to work while snowmobiling.

Poor connectivity and janky sound
I couldn’t get these to work as my device kept reading these as separate bluetooth speakers. I even reached out to support about it but I still couldn’t get them to work. But what got me to really not want to keep these was the exrremely poor quality of the voice. The voice sounded so cheap like it was coming from a cheap AM transistor radio. It made me question the quality and longevity of the device.

Best bang the the buck
Outdoor master is the best combo i think of price / value. These headphones are awesome, and long battery live. Did 2 days on the slopes and still had over 50% battery remaining. I love the big buttons and do not feel them in my helmet at all.As far as sound quality, they sound 'good'. Not bad at all. Good volume. They also have a mic for taking calls. Highly recommend these

They do not work.
Earphones do not both synch. Either left side or the right side works, but not both. I have a new iPhone. Sometimes even the side that was working would quit in the middle of a day of skiing. The instructions were minimal; the packaging was good and this was where they invested their money. Product support was not helpful. By the time I went skiing twice and figured they would never work I missed the product return window by two days. DO NOT BUY these.
