I bought this to replace an Epson EF22 1080P projector. The Epson was pretty good, great colors and image, but I wanted a 4k projector ultimately. I was searching for a while and stumbled on this projector. There wasn't a lot of reviews for this model specifically, but I saw decent reviews for their other older models so decided to bite the bullet and get it.I am amazed by it. Great picture quality, colors and brightness/contrast. I use this projector in a dark room directly onto a white wall without any projection screen. Looks great in darkness, and it's bright enough to be usable during the day, but it won't replace your TV in a well lit room.Speakers are good for me. I appreciate that they are front facing since I set up the projector behind me.Aesthetics are nice, it really looks elegant and has a nice weight and build quality.I got this projector $200 dollars off, so I am very happy with the price that I paid. I don't think I saw anything else in the market that looks this good, produces such a good image, and is relatively cheap. I'm no expert, but I am not disappointed with this purchase, and have been having a great time watching movies and series on it.Cons:NO NETFLIX on stock Android TV.I had to buy an Apple TV 4k streaming box. You can also buy a Roku or a Chromecast 4k.

This would be a five star review if it has an aux output for my speaker system. It would truly be perfect, but I had to buy and adaptor and use a Roku for my sound system. There is Blue Tooth so it's not totally impossible to use an external speaker, but I'm a tad old school. But this image is GREAT. The story here is complex because I almost didn't buy it. I'd bought a more expensive laser projector but it was delayed. Decided to order this to see if I liked it but forgot to cancel the other. I got both!The good news is that this one was a lot cheaper and yet looked just as good. The built in stand made it flawless to set up on a shelf. I decided to keep it for my bedroom and a travel projector. It's really great, not going to lie. I really do think it's a five star projector in every way except the lack of an aux out. But really, love that it's small and the image is great. I'm new to laser after using standard bulb-based projectors for years, but I'm glad I made the jump.

I'm impressed with this for dark room viewing which I use it for exclusively. It's projecting onto a medium gray blue wall. I used the wall color adaption mode and the color is vibrant, great contrast, saturated and looks very natural with HDR 4K movies and SDR HD TV shows. It's bright and clarity is excellent, very easy on the eyes. I also have an LG OLED and the picture quality is very close to that, surprisingly. The user interface is very good, easy to understand and lots of options. It's slightly slow but it's not bad at all. Having this with an Atmos soundbar, which this is connected to via HDMI, is like having a real big screen theatre experience at home. The sound from the unit is ok, but it can't match a good sound system. I'm projecting about a 120 inch wide image on the wall. Looks fantastic! I've had it for a few months now, and enjoy having it as a movie night option.

It is absolutely impressive! The picture quality is outstanding — ultra clear and vibrant even in a bright room. The projection size is huge, which makes it perfect for movie nights at home. It’s also very user-friendly and easy to set up. Truly a high-quality projector that’s worth every penny.Have to Update: I purchased this on February 4, 2025, and have been thoroughly impressed with the projector's quality and performance.What truly surprised me, though, was the incredible customer service I received five months later, in July. I noticed that a new promotion was offering a free XGIMI Floor Stand with the same projector, so I reached out just to ask.To my surprise, Sophie H from the support team responded promptly and kindly. While she couldn’t do a price match, but generously offered to send me the floor stand as a gesture of goodwill. That level of care and support, months after my purchase, is rare and truly appreciated.It’s clear that XGIMI not only builds great products but also stands behind them with outstanding service. Truly recommended!

It started working great, but then after over month it freezes. Now it's too late to return it. For the price should have been less problematic

Like other people say , this projector is the best in the price range, also i was impressed by the sound quality I had optima hz39hdr,viewsonic ls40 hd. Both are 1080p projector.good picture quality, Both sound very thin. Wanted sonething better). Only one issue i have is there is a delay when u connect bluetooth speaker. Not sure if i can live without…hopefully future update can fix

Fantastic! Really convenient and the sound&visual effect is too good to be considered a single projector. Now me and my husband use it watching TV shows everyday. Can’t leave it for fun times.

Initially I was placing the projector too far, and the color was faded. After playing around with the setup and placing it closer to the projector screen, it brightened up a lot. Very happy with the purchase.One con, there is no netflix in the apps section,( I have hulu, disney, peacock...)
