The product seems fine. (I haven’t used it yet, but seems to be as expected)However, please be cautioned that this seller ships via CERTIFIED MAIL.I completely understand why a seller would want to do this, however, this was not made clear in the product description. I am never home to personally sign for a package from USPS and would not have ordered from this seller if I had known up front. It was a huge hassle and inconvenience to receive this package and will not order from this seller again.Communication is worth a star.

This review is for a 16oz bottle of KS genuine vanilla extract. Sixteen fluid ounces of pure, genuine vanilla is A LOT! A bottle this size should last most non-commercial cooks for a decade or more. The actual stated "best-by" date is August of 2028, but I've never known any alcohol-based baking extracts to actually expire. I wasn't familiar with the name KS, but upon examining the back label, I discovered that this branding is actually part of Costco's wholesale or commercial line. Presumably it's marketed to bakeries or catering companies, rather than home chefs, but I was happy to receive it for the purposes of this review. Right out of the gate, I can report that this gets 5 stars for value; pure non-imitation vanilla extract can easily cost $15-20 for a 2oz container, so for 16oz, the msrp on this is great! I tasted the liquid, and it tastes good to me; not being a vanilla connoisseur there may be subtle nuances I'm missing or unaware of, but it's on par with the other natural vanilla extracts I've purchased in my lifetime. The measuring spoons that come with the extract are a nice bonus, and overall I'd recommend this duo as a great purchase. The bottle is plastic, not glass, and packaging was appropriate and effective (shrink wrap outside, plus an inner security seal over the mouth of the bottle) There were no leaks or damage during transit, and so far I'm very happy with the KS product.

I can’t even taste the vanilla in my recipes. And if I pour some in my tea it just tastes like alcohol. Not a good value.

I don’t know what it is about vanilla extract. I feel like I had the same tiny bottle forever in my cabinet then all of a sudden many recipes I wanted to do used vanilla and I started to go through it quickly. I decided to get a larger bottle because it seemed like a much better value. Which works well with the fall and winter baking season upon us.This bottle is much larger than the one I usually buy. I was buying the one ounce bottles and definitely needed a larger one. This one is 16 ounces and feels huge especially compared to a one ounce bottle.I have made chocolate chip cookie bars and used this in homemade ice cream so far. It is fresh and subtle. The bottle is simple to pour and it’s extremely convenient it comes with a measuring spoon set. That alone makes this a better value!I would purchase this set again and recommend it.

Haven't got a chance to try the vanilla. I trust Kirkland brands to always be decent quality though. The spoons included are handy. The shape allows you to get them into smaller bottles. Put them in the drawer and found a need for them several times in the first few weeks I had them.

This is excellent quality vanilla and I'm having a lot of delicious cookies now. My only complaint is I'ma going to gain some weight over this ;-;...

This vanilla is a great value for the money. It's got a sweet, rich smell, a great flavor and it's a great stock-up item for the pantry.
