I wanted an inexpensive TV for my bedroom and for less than 150 quid this looked like a good candidate. I don't watch live TV so it was important that I could load my favourite streaming/multimedia apps. That's why I went for an Android TV rather than Roku. This worked seamlessly straight out of the box and was easy to connect to my wifi and to configure the various apps I downloaded from the Google Play store. It helped that several of the more common apps were pre-installed.Picture quality is very good and the sound is most acceptable. I'm very pleased I went with this one.

The TV is good value for the price, easy to set up good quality picture and sound, the remote control also lights up when you press a button, good feature to have when your watching a movie with the lights off

Not a top end TV but you can't complain for the cost has a built in media player so will play videos off of a usb device as well as being a smart TV which other cheap brands don't

The TV is good, it has a clear picture just like all the other reviews say. The main inconvenience is the waiting time for the TV to respond; after you press a button it can take 90seconds or longer for the tv to react, especially if you haven't used the it for a while like a week or so (WiFi connection).I have decided to write this review as we have lost (read misplaced) the remote and so there was no way of putting the TV on.The product support Amazon assistance was very useless and I waisted lot of time to get help, but all I was offered was refund on return. And I'm happy with the TV so why would I do that 😔. I did not succeed contacting the seller via Amazon either, all I was offered was a non UK phone number and a link to non UK website. Unfortunately this is not the first time when I decided to buy here a third party sellers items and I was left hanging. All in all I'm very unhappy.We have the remote app and we have watched the youtube support videos countless times. There is no button to turn the TV on (that we could find) for the WiFi to enable the TV remote app on my phone to work. And so we could not get it on for two weeks.But in the end we have discovered that the Thompson TV HAS the switch on button. It is at the bottom of the TV next to the white light, back right hand side from it. And in all fairness it does not look like a button.

This is an excellent TV superb picture does everything you need, all the apps and very easy to set up. You will be surprised at the quality and sharpness of the picture.Best value TV could not fault it.Would definitely recommend.
