Small enough to fit in a purse. For $2 a piece (I purchased when on sale for $20), these are great gifts to add to Easter baskets, use as an hank you gifts, thinking of you gifts. I didn't try the pens before I gave them away. They are the size of the notebook so they probably won't last a long, long time, but I still think these are wonderful. I just bought them again to have on hand for the next time I need a small gift.
