Original Ethiopian Bible would be unprintable outside of a university press - said the tome would be huge. So be aware that this Ethiopian Bible carries only the omitted books from the so-called Christian Bibles. Even at that, it's still a good sized book.

This is a game changer. I absolutely love the font size as i wear glasses but I can read the Scriptures without my glasses and I'm so very happy. I highly recommend this for anyone whose vision is impaired. The cover is soft and it's not heavy. Finally I can read Meqabyan(Maccabees), Enoch, Jubilees,1st & 2nd Edras, Tobit, Judith, Additions to Esther, The Book of Wisdom, Sirach(Ecclesiasticus), Baruch, The Ltr. of Jeremiah, The Song of The Three Holy Children, The Book of Susanna(everyone should read this Book), Bell and the Dragon, The prayer of Manasseh, Psalm 151(it's ridiculous to have removed this), 4 Baruch & The Ethiopic Didascalia (haven't read all of it but it's very interesting-it's like a summary and suggestions on following Scripture). I wish it had the Book of Jasher and the Testament. I have those in other books-I have to have several books when I'm studying Scripture. I highly recommend this Bible.

Great book

As someone who studies early church writings, I was impressed by the inclusion of the Ethiopic Didascalia. It presents a thoughtful and structured vision of Christian community, something that most of us have lost sight of. I also love the large print, the structure and layout of this bible.

It states all 66 books of traditional bible are included, plus the missing books of the orthodox Tewalhedo biblical canon.That is not true. The 66 books of traditional bible are NOT included. Deceiving information to sell book.
