Perfect little pocket knife
Elegant, beautiful, stylish. These are all words i would use to describe myself. The knife is also really well built, lightweight and has in my opinion the most important tools of all.I already have 2 huntsman but was looking for a small lightweight well built knife for hiking as im trying to slim down the weight of my kit, and this is exqctly what i was looking for.Typical victorinox high quality.

Victorinox Waiter Army Knife.
I like this make and one other. This was a little gift, for my brother in law. He loves it! My sister and he, travel a lot and enjoy camping as well. This knife is a great tool for basic travel needs. I have one myself. It is quite old but still good. I used mine for hiking. They are made to last. I had a large one with lots of accessories. Plus an old version of this one. My son claimed the larger one, eventually. For cross country bike rides. He says that it is handy for lots of reasons. That had all sorts of accessories. More suiting his bike needs. The tools stay quite sharp. On this particular one. The bottle opener, does work. The cork screw does, as well. Yes, they still do corks. Plus bottle tops. I have used the bottle opener, to lever open the pull tops on sardines. You know those rings that lie flat onto the pull top tins. Great gadget for levering them up.! Plus, l have also up a sausage, by stabbing the cork screw into it. Well? Whatever rocks your boat. It is sturdy enough to take it. However It is not suitable for young people. It could cause harm in the wrong hands. This one pops into your pocket or onto a keyring. Which will scratch it eventually. So be aware. I think these army knives are great. Plus long lasting. So they are value for money.

The Waiter is the essential travel item.
This is a review of the Victorinox Army Knife - The Waiter. What is the most essential item you need when travelling? For me it is a corkscrew. There is nothing worse than being on the 18 hour night sleeper train from Bucharest to Istanbul with a wine bottle and a cork that can't be budged. I know that there are fancy tricks for removing a cork without a corkscrew but they don't seem to work for me. I can remember once, in desperation, having to struggle to push the cork INTO the bottle - and of course this made the wine spurt up all over me. Oh dear! Not the best of ideas and also a waste of wine. So a corkscrew is needed and the Swiss Army knife - the Waiter - is just the job. Like all Victorinox Swiss Army knives it is beautifully engineered and is not going to fall apart or bend when opening that bottle of Romanian red wine. It is also very light and although weight isn't a problem on trains it is a consideration when flying. Apart from the corkscrew the Waiter has a bottle opener and also a small sharp blade for cutting the bottle foil - or some cheese. Cheers!

Add it to your keychain
I bought this one in particular because the blade is away from the keyring which means it is easy to use from my keys and I don’t have to remove it from the loop.I’ve used it in lots of situations and I’m glad I got this simple one.
