Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve always wanted these lights on my home I ordered these had them put up and I love them , however the color red does not work on one strand (i bought two 100 ft sets) it works on one strand but not the other there is other colors so I guess it’s not that big of a deal also one remote works for both strands so that’s a plus for me

These work so well that I have ordered six altogether. Every time they go on sale, I buy another one.

I had high hopes for the Sinley Permanent Outdoor Lights, but unfortunately, my experience was marred by significant defects and a frustrating app.Defective Units: Out of the [Number] boxes I ordered, two were completely defective. The lights simply wouldn't respond to any commands, rendering them useless. This was incredibly disappointing, especially given the time and effort required to install them.Erratic Behavior: Even the lights that did work exhibited strange behavior. Some lights would turn on and off independently, regardless of the commands issued through the remote or the app. This made it impossible to achieve any consistent or reliable lighting setup.Useless App: The accompanying app is nothing short of a disaster. It's incredibly user-unfriendly, with a confusing interface and a lack of clear instructions. Basic functions like grouping lights or setting schedules were needlessly complicated. Honestly, the app only added to the frustration and offered no real control over the lights.Overall: While the concept of permanent outdoor lights is appealing, the Sinley system falls far short of expectations. The high rate of defects, erratic light behavior, and a terrible app make this product a disappointment. I would strongly advise considering alternative options before purchasing Sinley Permanent Outdoor Lights.Recommendation: Sinley needs to seriously address these issues, particularly the quality control and app functionality, before this product can be considered reliable. Until then, I cannot recommend it.

I don't have pictures, but the lights are bright and visible and I'm very pleased with the result. I didn't do anything fancy, just a straight line on my eaves and I used plastic clips on my gutters. That's all I was looking for and these did it great. The light-show-type options are limited, all the lights basically change to the same color at the same time, but I like the fade option to different colors.For some areas, I used the sticky back for the lights. If it's somewhat damp out, the sticky back didn't work great for me- I used screws for some of them. Be aware, those screws are REALLY small and hard to work with a drill bit screwdriver. Also, the plastic holes are small, so if you use different screws they'll need to be pretty skinny as well.I WAS able to cut these lights to length and they are still working. I saw some conflicting information on that. I bought the 200' version and didn't need all of that. I cut the string after the last one I needed and the lights are still working perfectly. That was one of the main things that I was looking to get out of this product as I didn't want to go around on a ladder and measure everything exactly beforehand. I did a rough estimate with a tape measure from the ground, made sure I ordered longer than that estimate, then was able to cut them to length. Now they're exactly where I want them to be.

I purchased the lights on Amazon and we were excited to receive the lights. My husband installed them and they worked great for the first 20 minutes and then when we hooked them up to the phone something went haywire and they stopped working other than the first 5 lights on the strand next to the control box. I called Amazon and then quickly replaced them free of charge. I just had until February to return the ones we had already installed. My husband was less than thrilled that he had to take down the lights that he had just installed to then reinstall another set. The new set arrived quickly and he instantly installed them and we were able to use them the rest of December and now we are using them in the red setting for Valentines. We love the lights. I have not hooked this set up to the phone in fear it will make them go haywire again. I just use the remote. We are contemplating ordering another set so that we can overlay them and have more lights closer together. Love the look and the display as they are but would like more lights on the strand.All in all we love them and would recommend them to anyone.

Easy installation. You can download lotus lantern And and control from your phone. When on ap you must be close to the plug. That’s the only downfall. Other than that I’m happy with the quality. Work great and easy to connect!! The adhesive is strong also!!

I love these bright and colorful lights. I especially like the design that allows them to be installed in a permanent way so next year I can just turn them on for the holidays.The white light option allows me to use them year round for security.I am going to use these around the back of my house to light up the back yard and this is going to be a really fun way to do that with the music lightshow option.I also like the ability to control the lights with an app, if I ever lose the included remote I will still be able to control the lights.I do wish the lights were individually addressable but that certainly isn't a deal killer.Once I have these lights installed I will try to remember to share some pictures of that too, for now all I have is pictures of testing them out after they arrived.I have too many colors to post a picture of each but I've included a couple just to give an idea of what the lights and remote look like.
