Good for your 1600 watt hairdryer
This has possibly all the plug adapters you would need to travel overseas. It is rated up to 1600 watts so, it will power your 1600 watt or less hairdryer or curling iron. It is not just an adapter. It will step down the overseas voltage which is usually 220 volts down to 110 volts which is what we use here in the US. It's a nice size. Not to large. Should fit in your luggage or carry on with ease. The only thing missing are some USB ports.

Works but so heavy
Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Item Option: 220 VWorks well but really heavy to travel with.Pros:- Reliable Performance: Effectively converts voltage, ensuring devices work safely and smoothly.- Wide Compatibility: Works with a variety of electronics, making it versatile for travel.Cons:- Bulky Design: Heavier than expected, which can make it less ideal for packing in luggage.Overall:This converter delivers dependable functionality for international travel but could benefit from a lighter, more travel-friendly design.Based on my preferences, the intended use, and my experience with this product, here’s my true rating 🌟 = 4/5

Large, heavy, high powered and excellent, but expensive.
At $90 this is a very expensive travel voltage converter, but it's exceptionally good, producing a 120v pure sine wave current, with multiple protections, such as over-current, overload, over-temperature, surge and short circuit protections, plus automatic disconnection if any issue is detected. It seems able to safely run almost anything. The seller, brand and manufacturer, Bonazza, hypes the light weight of this converter. The box says "Technological breakthrough ... In terms of power and compatibility you won't find anything smaller or lighter! The first of its kind."Maybe that's true, but make no mistake: At about 2 lbs this is a very large and heavy voltage converter for travel.A year and half ago I ordered a Zenadora brand voltage converter on Amazon that was much less powerful (250w), but at $37 much less expensive. It too offered a pure sine wave and multiple socket adapters. It is now unavailable, but in its place the Zenadora Amazon store offers a 300w $39 Alphino brand converter that likewise has a pure sine wave and multiple plug adapters.Unless you insist upon traveling with high wattage devices like cook pots, irons, hair dryers, etc, you probably won't need the 1600w offered by this heavy and expensive Bonazza model, and that Alphino model, with almost 10oz less weight, would be well worth a look.

Solid
This power converter is an absolute must-have for international travel! It worked flawlessly with a variety of smaller devices, and the build quality is solid—comparable to a well-made power strip. The heavy-duty cord adds to its reliability, and it even comes with basic international travel adapters, which are a great bonus. The 1600W power capacity is impressive and easily handles high-wattage appliances like a rice cooker or hair dryer. I tested it with multiple devices, and everything worked smoothly without any issues. While the unit is a bit bulky, it’s far more convenient than carrying multiple adapters, especially for long trips to 220V countries. What I love most is its versatility and thoughtful design. It’s compact enough to pack and comes with four types of adapters, making it usable anywhere in the world. For the price, this converter offers tremendous value and saves me the hassle of buying separate adapters for each device.Whether for short trips or extended stays, this is an essential travel accessory for anyone needing a reliable, high-capacity power solution. Highly recommend!

It works, but with some issues
This unit runs quietly. The fan runs on low all the time, but it can hardly be heard on standby. It does accelerate with a higher load. I've tested the unit with inductive loads and it works very well. I've also tested it with a 900W microwave, a test that requires very clean power. It works fine, but the microwave has a higher buzzing noise than if operated on the grid (which is indicative of an imperfect sine wave). I then added a large fan running at about 60W and the unit started making some crackling noises, yet both the fan and the microwave ran fine, without any deviation in speed, etc. This unit is nice, but it's not a 1600W unit! It will handle loads of under 1000W just fine, but it struggles with loads above that.

It does the thing it's supposed to, and seems to do it just fine
The BONAZZA Step Down Voltage Converter generally performs as advertised, converting 220V to 110V for use with "American" appliances. It includes a set of adapters for various international outlets, which is convenient for travel. However, I found the unit to be somewhat bulky and heavy, making it less than what I would consider ideal for frequent packing. I've only used it locally, though, to run some appliances off a 220V outlet out of convenience. It's given me no problems at home, so I'd trust it abroad.

Great Voltage Converter
I travel internationally very often for work. I needed a converter that could handle more than just a cellphone or iPad. When you travel as much as I do, you sometimes just want to stay in your hotel room and not go find a restaurant. As the description says, you can use a rice cooker or hot plate (along with many other things) and not have to worry about blowing a fuse or messing something up. The included converter plugs mean it will work anywhere, and the dual inputs are great. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars is really my fault - the weight make it heavy in luggage, and I didn't pay enough attention to the description. By giving it 4 stars maybe that will get people's notice so they don't make the same mistake. However, it's not so heavy that you can't easily pack it. And of course, it needs to be heavy to be able to safely convert voltage. If you need a CONVERTER and not an ADAPTER, this one is top-notch.
