Concrete Molds DIY Sold 1 Piece Fence Pier Cap Concrete ABC Plastic Molds Size 20,08x20,08 inch (510x510mm) P07

Had to make 11 caps for my pillars and it worked out great. It held up and still able to use it if needed at a later date. It takes just over an 80 lb bag of cement. I had to add in 2 shovels from another bag. It came out from Ukraine and it took about 3-1/2 weeks to come in. Well worth the wait.

This mould is very good quality. Very impressed with the final result I was able to achieve using this. Highly recommend

To weak

It arrived earlier then anticipated. Was boxed with some styrofoam... Could have used a little more of that. Appears to be suitable for the job, although, I would have liked for it to have been a little thicker. I built a frame for it that will save my back and knees from working on the ground. I'll include a picture that may help some of you.I have 10 caps to build. Going to make them using white Portland cement. I anticipate using about the equivalent of an 80 lb bag of ready mix concrete. I will error on the side of a looser mixture so that all of the nooks and crannies of the form can be filled, as opposed to laying a slab. Here goes. I'll update when I'm done.Edit: 2 of my columns are 32 inches square. This cap will sit atop a poured in place cap that is 36x36 inches square, but I want this to be a little larger...so I built a frame around it that expands the size from the original 20x20 to 27x27. In addition, 8 other columns will be 24x24. This cap will fit atop those columns with a nice overhang.

This mold is very sturdy and super smooth, so the cured concrete comes out without using a releasing agent. I bought this from a Ukrainian vender and it arrived in Austin TX in 2 weeks - well before the estimated date. The packaging had styrofoam that was basically the same shape as the plastic mold so I saved the box/foam, cut off the top of the box, and used it to keep the mold in place while pouring the concrete.
