BLACKHAWK! S.O.L.A.G. Recon Glove

The media could not be loaded. First off I gotta say I’ve been looking for a replacement for my under armor knuckle goatskin gloves all winter and fall. Bought 300$ worth of gloves, that glove fit my hand perfectly so when I saw these for 10$ and I had just lost yet another right glove (anyone else have this problem it’s always the right glove) since my replacement Wiley x gloves were going to take a week(going on 2 still not here) I took a chance on these and in a large when I usually get medium… for 10$ I’m about to buy a boatload more pairs. They fit horrible right away, but were very tight which to he ua ones were so I just dipped them in hot water put my hand in them while submerged , then pushing each finger from the tip to knuckle. This did the trick along with wearing them for an hour out two after that till they dried a little .. I like these gloves better than wx, Oakley pilot 2.0, hatch operator, and even my ua(but they still aren’t super thin like those but I live in the north so it’s ok. Only down side and others can agree this is they really don’t need an index finger touch screen. It makes the index finger too big in the tip , now you can text with them. Maybe not this review but it’s doable , you may want to break your phone cuz you’re hitting the wrong letters though. Really just the thumb as touchscreen would be fine then mak the index like the other 3 fingers instead of odd and sausage like. Luckily I have 5 sewing machines and can fix this issue. They could have made this index thin and just out a stitch of conductive thread not 6 of them. Next up first tactical pro knuckle, oh and fyi same company makes these as the ua ones I was looking for. Blackhawk doesn’t make there own gloves cuz I called there headquarters to ask what type of Velcro they used cuz it’s awesome Velcro

Was really impressed with the quality of this glove very nice soft leather and well-placed pads. However the interior where the seams are stitched are very thick and leave impressions on my hand after taking them off I'm hoping that will flatten out after some wear...

Bought for the husband, sooo glad they were too small for him. I've had them for a long time now. I've put them through some shit: auto mechanics, climbing and pruning trees, lifting and moving, used for my epoxy resin crafts, ALL my wood working from cutting, sawing, sanding. They have taken the brunt of what could've been serious injuries. They do run extremely small! Oh, they also keep your hands pretty damn warm! And these are my go-to gloves when I mess with getting spiders from black widows to wolf spiders!

Bought these as a gift for a friend in a wheelchair. He wears tactical gloves to protect his hands from banging around. He has worn a large in every set of gloves he buys. These large wouldn't even go over his fingers. I generally wear a medium and they are tight on me.

Overall the gloves are extremely comfortable. I have owned several pairs of the original S.O.L.A.G gloves, which are very hard to find. I ordered MEDIUM sized gloves because that is typically my size. Upon arriving, I tried them on for size and the spacing between my index finger and thumb was a little tight, limiting my mobility.Having owned these type of gloves before, this is just a breakin period. Once broken in, the glove will be more fluid with your hand.A nice tip for the gloves is to put the gloves on, then soak them in water, and wear for a few hours around the house to allow the break in. Always works for me
