I bought this admittedly to give my kids a fright on halloween!It was easy to get set up and you have the added bonus of being able to add your own scary faces to it. It has a decent battery life and easily functioned for the whole evening.While wearing the mask you will get tunnel vision so keep vigilant as where you step!There are a number of these masks on the market, and the one thing you will need to do is ensure that it has the higher resolution so the images it projects images that you can actually recognise the image.The app is pretty straight forward and i found it easy to use. The mask itself can be controlled by gesture but this can be switched off via the app.

My son used this for Halloween. He is the type of kid that doesn’t want a costume, but he agreed to wear this with a skeleton hoodie and loved it. Everyone wanted a go and the kids enjoyed changing the face… it was a success.

I bought this product a day before a fancy dress party. Good packaging, looked nice out the box , different LCD faces was amazing and you can draw your own faces on the phone app and it shows on the mask which was really cool . Only 2 stars down for the view that you have when you put the mask over your face it feels kind of like a scuba mask over your eyes and I would say like 80% of your view is obstructed.I was gutted when the mask just suddenly stopped working. I returned as broke but if I was a hundred percent sure it didn't happen again I would definitely buy this mask again.The only downfall again is the view while its on is not very good .... maybe larger eye holes would be better and a clearer view instead of tinted eye holes. 4stars

The media could not be loaded. I'm actually quite impressed by this LED face mask.It arrived in a smart box with instructions and USB-A/C lead.First of all I charged it up with my own USB lead and charger - whilst charging it shows you an battery charging animation on the face display (see my pic).It takes up to 3 hours to fully charge - though as mine had charge in it already it only took 30mins. And then it should last for 8-10 hours.There's a small power switch on the back/base and then I used the motion sensor on the front to change the display functions (25 static and 25 moving), although you can use the on switch too.I'm actually really impressed by the brightness (assuming your using in a darkened room or at night) and the variety of the images and animations.I've tried to show many of them in my video.Because it changes the image/animation on the front with movement in front of the mask - you'll just have to avoid moving anything close to the front of the mask whilst wearing it - if you want to keep the same image/animation.The mask is fairly 'flat' so although it's fairly lightweight and has a large comfortable elasticated head strap and foam around the eyes I didn't find it comfortable to wear for extended periods. Mainly because I found my nose pressed against the back of the mask (and I don't think I have a particular big nose!). Other than that I'm impressed.Obviously it's not cheap as far as fancy dress or Halloween masks go - but as something different and a novelty, I thinks it's kind of worth it.

Got this to wear at a party to stand out.This face mask comes with a bunch of pre-set LED ‘faces’ and designs, some of which are even animated and look really cool (see video). There’s a button on the underside to press and hold to switch it on and you can then press it again quickly to change the face. You can also place your hand over the front sensor to enable face switching by gesture. This allows you to swipe your hand in front of the mask to change faces. There aren’t that many pixel dots on the front so the designs are quite basic but the animated ones are effective, especially in the dark.Although the padding around the eyes of this is comfy, I found this not totally comfortable to wear as it squashes my nose. It’s like it’s not curved enough or needs a nose recess or something. Because of this, I couldn’t wear it for long periods. I also found that the gesture sensor didn’t work properly unless I actually gently tapped the front of the mask with my full hand. There’s also no way to go back and forth so if you accidentally skip past a face you like, yup, you have to cycle through them all until you get back to it again. Ugh.There are no other options like sound based light flashing or the ability to create your own ‘faces’.Overall, I’m a little disappointed with this mask. The lack of face control swapping and having to plant my hand on the front to change faces is a bit of a pain, but the nose thing is the main problem. Maybe my nose is just too big? But I found it uncomfortable to wear, which is a shame as some of the effects do look great. If you’ve got a small nose, maybe you’ll have better luck!
