This is perhaps one of the best buys that I have made from AMAZON! Simple set-up and within 24 hours we had a well lit front walkway. We will be purchasing additional lights for adding safe passage ways around our home.

As described. We used this to add to an old lamp pole for our patio area. Works great!

Not very bright.

I am very disappointed in this lamp post topper. Despite sunny days, the lamp rarely works. We have walkway solar lights and they work great but I wanted a good lamp post light to light the area. I don't think we saw more than 7-10 nights of light from it.EDIT: the seller promptly reached out to me to make the purchase right. They sent a replacement and it has been working strong since its placement. It has been about 2 weeks since the replacement was installed. We have a couple days of rain coming so I will be curious how the lamp will respond to move overcast days.

I came across this and had to try it out. I prefer solar. There is also heavy foot traffic in front of the house and I wanted the area to be illuminated for safety reasons. Once we received this we only had to place this on the lamp post and secure it with the screws that come with it. Super simple and provides a nice illumination so that walkers can at least see the sidewalk. Illumination lasts all night on most nights here in the PNW - huge plus. If you're looking for SUPER BRIGHT this is not your light. If you're looking for something to light your path to avoid tripping this would be the way to go. I actually want to get two more for the front yard to add a soft glow to the yard.
