My HP laptop does recognize that this is not an OEM charger though. It does charge and run it without error.

Didn't Last Long
This cord didn't even last a month. It stopped charging my phone and computer out of the blue, with no physical damage to the cord or anything else that I could see wrong with it. I give this a very low rating because as I said, it didn't even hold up for one month.

PIOEVTKA AC Adapter with USB-C Tip - Looks Sleek And Works Perfectly
This PIOEVTKA laptop charger was described as "Newest Slim HP 90W 65W USB C Type C Adapter Laptop Charger Compatible with HP Spectre x360, EliteBook". It is indeed slim, and it has a USB-C connector, which is rapidly becoming the port standard for many newer laptops. The voltage on the PIOEVTKA charger is variable, adjusting according to your laptop's demands. It can be either 5V-3A/9V-3A /10V-5A/12V-5A/15V-5A /20V-4.5A. The wattage is 90W MAX, but it can also step down to 65W and even 45W, if appropriate. My laptop is only rated for 65W, but I chose this one because I was worried that a non-OEM AC adapter might not deliver enough power to run it at full tilt. I was also worried about overheating, because the PIOEVTKA is smaller and thinner than my original HP charger. Fortunately, both my fears were unfounded. Not only did this adapter deliver enough power, it ran at roughly the same temperature as the older thicker adapter, maybe even a bit cooler. I'll update this review if the device fails prematurely or develops any problems, but so far it's working great, and I'd recommend it.

i picked this up for my kids to charge their chromebooks, it works very well. it is well made and allows them to keep their other chargers in their bags. would buy again

Works Well as a Spare Power Adapter for HP Envy X360
I needed a spare power adapter for my HP Envy X360 and decided to try this generic "HP 90W 65W USB-C Laptop Charger." So far, it has worked just fine. In the past, I've had issues with non-original adapters triggering compatibility warnings, but that hasn't been a problem with this one.The adapter looks very similar to the original HP versions, though the build quality isn't quite the same. However, it does the job and has been reliable so far.
