Good first impression
Fitted to camera tripod and worked first time giving me a laser line down the garage wall. So far so good.Seems robust, functional and good value for the money

The level works
It looks like it was opened end used, when i unpacked it the foil on the safety lock was not straight and the laser was not locked. I tested it and it worked. Good for the price.

Even has a battery pouch, just not very user-friendly
So initially I wanted to give this five stars, because it comes with a nice pouch that fits perfectly, the pouch is velcro, and additionally even has a battery pocket. The fact that they actually bother to provide batteries and then add it on some pockets is insane. However they did some seriously poor design choices here. There's a slider on the side, which isn't on or off. It's simply on with the self-centering mode. In the supposed off mode, it's actually waiting but turns off the self-centering clip. If you then keep hold of the mode button, it will turn the light on, and then you can use the brightness to make it brighter or flicker extremely fast, cuz of course you will need that right? On the self-centering mode, there is no way to choose just horizontal or vertical, so you are greeted with both. You can again use the brightness setting to make it brighter and then make it flicker for permanent epilepsy. If you then decide that you want to switch modes, you have to then use a slider, which will then turn it off, and then you have to keep hold of the button. All of this is inside the instructions, but you will have to read it twice. It comes with a rubberized surface, and amount that can fit onto a typical tripod. Nearly perfect, but the user friendliness is not there, therefore I would look to an alternate product
