Carbon Fiber Insoles, Carbon Fiber Foot Plate 1 Pair Rigid Shoe Insert Support Turf Toe, Foot Fractures, Morton Extension, Hallux Rigidus and Limitus - Alternative to Post Op Shoe

I ordered these as my doctor indicated I needed carbon fiber insole to be used for one month (after removing the boot) to support my left foot fifth metatarsal fracture healing . I usually wear 8.5 and followed the size guide. The fit is perfect. There is a little space, but that makes easier to insert the insole into the shoe. The price for two is great. I put the second one in my other pair of sneakers so can quickly change as needed. Its a thin insole so doesnt take much extra room in my shoe but provides enough support and prevents my foot from bending while walking, which is the key here.

I suffer from Big Toe Joint pain in both feet, but especially in my right foot. This is a result of the connective tissue being worn away between the toe joints, leading to bone on bone friction. At the suggestion of my orthopedist last year, I bought one carbon fiber insert (another seller through Amazon with a product called Onujo fiber insole) to put into my right shoe, so that my right foot toes don't bend when walking. It did the trick. The insert took the pressure off my right toe, because it stayed stable, so almost no pain. I did need a soft insert (e.g., like a Dr. Scholl's gel insert) over the carbon fiber insert because I needed some padding to protect my heel and sole from the carbon fiber's hard surface. I felt sometimes on my right foot that I was walking like Frankenstein, just plopping my foot down, because the foot didn't bend when it hit the ground.Unfortunately, the pain got so bad this year that I had surgery to fuse my Big Toe. Now it really doesn't bend at all, so no friction and no pain, and the carbon fiber insert keeps my right foot flat.Since my left Big Toe pain is now getting worse, I decided to get another carbon fiber insert to see if that would help me postpone surgery for that foot.I went with this vendor because I got two inserts compared to the price of the one I bought last year. So far, so good. These inserts appear to be identical in every way except for the price, and hopefully they keep me walking and pain-free for a good, long time.

I ordered a size 8 to match my athletic shoe size, and it fit perfectly in several pairs of shoes without any extra bulk. The insole is incredibly lightweight, so it didn’t add any noticeable weight, making it easy to wear for extended periods. The included soft insert added an extra layer of comfort, which was a nice touch. With this insole, I was able to transition smoothly out of my walking boot, as it provided excellent support and minimized toe movement. Highly recommend it to anyone recovering from a foot or toe injury!

These definitely help with toe pain relief, if worn without a soft layer on top they do feel like you’re walking on a very hard surface. But, they do what they are intended to do. Lots of support, durable, good value.

My podiatrist could not even believe you get two of these for the price - you can basically turn one upside down and then fit two shoes to allow for a toe to heal. Great product and great value

These really added a ton of stiffness to my sneakers and made them feel like hiking boots. Provided some needed relief for an injury to a couple toes. They are feather light & super thin.
