Squid ink for cooking, yum!
Amazing flavour. I have used this on pasta and rice and it adds a delicious, seafood flavour that I love! Do be aware it will make your food black and it can eb a bit tricky to get off clothes so just be gentle when using it. A little goes a long way too so don't over do it. When used right, it provides delicious flavour and makes dishes look very weird but also interesting at the same time!!

Getting creative
Easy to use and adds a great flavour to rice and pasta. The ink is quite strong and so only needs a little amount, the colouring is absorbed nicely with no sticky residues. top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again

Good colour and consistency, limited taste
The colour is really good and it has a thick consistency, which is good. However, the taste is quite plain. I would expecting something a bit more fish in taste. If your need is mostly to give colour to food, this works quite well, but it does not provide as much flavour as others I have used.

Great for squid ink pasta
I've always wanted to try my hand at squid ink pasta and risotto, as the end result looks so dramatic! This little pot of squid ink is perfect for the task, and I've had fun creating a range of dishes with black rice and pasta! it can be added to anything, and acts as a natural food dye. I am thinking of making my next project black ice-cream!A good quality, versatile product - I am very pleased with it.

Amazing with pasta or rice
This squid ink works very well with both pasta and rice. The colour is dark and sticks with no issues. It has a nice flavour which works well with any seafood.Overall I would say it's a pretty great squid ink. I would recommend it to anyone.

Quite fun to mess with
Edible ink is one of those things that I'd only really seen in those fancy black spaghetti images so I imagined it was some expensive ingredient so I was pretty surprised when I got to try it myself, the jar is quite small but you could tell you'd not need much to make a big difference to things. For obvious reasons one of the first things I tried was making the black spaghetti and its certainly trippy seeing something almost seem a completely colourless grey, the result was actually quite tasty with the taste of the ink being nice if you don't overuse it (turns out its fishy which I suppose I should have expected lol).I also tried it in various other random things to randomly make it a lot darker with one of the sillier looking ones being mashed potato and also jokingly used it as actual ink once on some wafer paper to make an edible letter. In other words as long as you are ok with adding that extra taste to things its really fun to sort of mess around with and I would recommend giving some a try for that reason.
