If you enjoy rose scents this is the one. It smells like actual roses. Not an artificial scent.I have super dry skin. This worked for me personally like an average lotion. I personally require thicker creams for super dry skin. I wonder how this will work in dry winter months when most everyone requires extra hydration though.I do think the value could be at least a bit better.

I recently got this new lotion, and I am obsessed! It has rose oil and shea butter, and it feels incredible on my skin. The scent is light and floral, not overpowering at all. A little goes a long way, so I can tell this bottle will last me a while. My skin feels so much more hydrated and healthy. I've gotten so many compliments on how good I smell lately! If you're looking for a new lotion, I highly recommend giving this one a try. You won't regret it!

Nuxe is a French luxury cosmetics brand that makes amazing products. The Very Rose Moisturizing Lotion in indeed very rose. It smells just like a bunch of fresh roses but also has a powdery scent. If you love the smell of roses you will enjoy this lotion. The lotion is light and non-greasy. It absorbs quickly. I love to apply it to still-damp skin after showering. It locks the moisture in and makes my skin silky soft. Putting it on at night lets me wake up with super smooth skin. I like to reapply it in the morning and pair it with a floral perfume so I smell amazing all day long.

Overall I'm happy with the scent and light moisturizing effects of Nuxe's Very Rose Body Milk. This arrived well packed and perfectly intact with no leaks or damage. The dispenser bottle is actually very nice in that you can turn the nozzle to lock it and prevent it from accidentally dispensing when traveling with it. The lotion itself is more on the lighter side; it does moisturize, but is not especially heavy. It works well for me as a spring and summer moisturizer, but I'd probably need something heavier for dry winter months. I personally like the scent. It is very floral and maybe a bit old-fashioned or a "mature" scent. It's a pretty strong fragrance when first applying it, so may not be for you if you're sensitive to strong scents. I have somewhat sensitive skin and this lotion did not irritate me at all or cause any discomfort.
